[Guide] Lenovo Yoga 920 i7-8550U 4K Big Sur 11.1 OpenCore

Thanks for the great work! Does anybody have an updated EFI that works with 11.5.2. That would be very much appreciated. Update: It's the Yoga 920 (latest BIOS) with FullHD, 8GB, and 512 GB SSD (upgraded) and DW1560. It works fine with Clover and Catalina 10.15.7; however, the Big Sur Installer...

    Intel NUC 10 Frost Canyon

First, thank you for the wonderful work that has been done to make the NUC10 quite a NUCintosh! For me, there is basically only one little niggle left to be worked out, and I'm wondering whether anyone here might have some insights. I'm using my NUC (10i5FNH) with the 5k display LG Ultrafine...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Thank you, works like a charm :) Can you elaborate on that? I assume, it can also be used as the final version for the SSD, right?

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Not really. I haven't figured out why the new version doesn't boot from USB, I've simply gone for a quick workaround. Since the new version works fine when installed to the SSD, all's good. As a footnote: the old version with updated CLOVER doesn't work properly. I noticed that the screen...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

+1 If unzipping CATNUC8EFI to the EFI partition of the USB flash drive, it doesn't boot (no icon). I used an older version and updated CLOVER to make it work. CATNUC8EFI works fine when unzipped to the EFI partition of the hard drive, though. Thanks for your great work, NUC works flawlessly :)

    [GUIDE] Lenovo Yoga 920

Well, the Touchscreen worked, but sleep didn't anymore. Deactivating the touchscreen seems to have solved the sleep issue and since I don't really need the touchscreen anyway, job done. Will have look at removing trackpad and mouse from VoodooPS2Controller.kext as an alternative, thank you...

    [GUIDE] Lenovo Yoga 920

Thank you for pointing me the right direction. I deactivated I2C SHUB in the DSDT (to be sure I did it twice, in 'Scope (_SB.PCI0)' and 'Scope (_SB.PCI0.I2C3)', will figure out later whether one would have been enough) Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) // _STA: Status {...

Great, thanks. I'll give it a try sometime.

    [GUIDE] Lenovo Yoga 920

Thank you for answering. Sleep works for me on my 920 as well as long as I don't use VoodooI2C. Do you also use VoodooI2C and, if so, which version?

So you're saying that also sleep is working faultlessly?

    [GUIDE] Lenovo Yoga 920

Lenovo Yoga 920 running 10.15.1 with only two question marks left. Thanks for this tutorial that got me started. There is actually no need to prevent the Yoga 920 from going to sleep, as it goes to sleep and wakes up without an issue. However, if VoodooI2C.kext (ver. 2.2) is loaded (regardless...

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Yes, stable bluetooth in Catalina with the NUC's proper chip. There might be a firmware necessary for the bluetooth chip to function properly which is loaded by the windows driver and, if so, it seems to remain till power loss.

Unfortunately i don't have an actual thunderbolt drive, just a thunderbolt dock.

Intel Bluetooth is working if you have a dual boot system. Rebooting from Windows makes it work even after subsequent shutdown(s). The procedure with booting Windows only has to be repeated after unplugging power.

[Guide] Intel NUC7/NUC8 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7Bxx,NUC8i7Bxx,etc)

Indeed, sleep/hotplug works fine with USB-C devices. It fails with actual Thunderbolt devices, at least with the HP dock I've tried. Would be great if somebody came up with a solution at some point.

NUC8i7BEH working great following the guides by @spottsy and @Leesureone. Thank you. My thunderbolt 3 docking station (HP Elite 65W Thunderbolt 3 Dock) works flawlessly when plugged in during boot, won't show up after sleep, though. Has anybody tried to make that work? There is a fix available...

[solved] Lenovo Yoga 730-13IKB install High Sierra success

@dragonflylee works great, thanks for your effort and for keeping the EFI folder updated. Am also impressed with how well USB-C hotplug works. Best hackintosh I've ever had. The only inconsistency I'm experiencing is in connection with my external monitor (LG 38UC99). 3840x1600@60Hz only works...

    Intel Hades Canyon NUC?

That is quite impressive. I'm reading about 8705G graphics with acceleration and without the annoying glitches for the first time. How did you achieve that? I hope you'll get a grip on the color distortion, even though it doesn't look too bad, does it?

[Guide] HP Elite X2 1012 G1 - The ultimate OS X tablet? Pretty close....

I've also tried more recent ones, doesn't seem to matter, though. So I've stuck with the one that's in the config.plist provided by Rehabman.
