How is that possible? I did not put anything in there. I got my post-install working by simply dragging the new EFI into my EFI partition

App failed to download. Use the Purchased page to try again

Update: Got the Appstore working by installing the newest iTunes update. EDIT: (Seems like I ****ed up the update installation process and fudged some settings. Installing the Itunes 12.8.2 updated fixes the failed to download error) Now my clover boot option is gone and it boots directly into...

App failed to download. Use the Purchased page to try again

I just set up my new Hackintosh (2nd one in my profile) and got everything up and running relatively quick. The hardware seems to work fine, but the appstore is acting up. On every try to download some apps, it says "APPNAME failed to download. Use the Purchased page to try again" It shows the...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I'm now stuck in a AppleKeyStore bootloop. What exactly were the changes to the EFI? That should help pinpoint the problematic kext

I'm on a GTX980Ti (Works flawless) and I try to get my iGPU online in headless mode for the Quicksync encoding. That's why I added the device ID (The 0x59... thing)

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions, but isn't the iMac 18.3 recommended for dGPU+Quicksync? I thought the 18.1 is for iGPU only... So if I get this right, I just have to have Lilu & WEG in my kexts and the iGPU should work? Could the SSDT cause some sort of conflict? (The SSDT is for the USB...

    pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Hey pastrychef, first off all, nice guide! Really easy to follow and got my hack up and running in under 2 hours... Sadly, I have not enough knowledge to get my iGPU to work in headless mode... - Intel 8700K - Asus Z370-I - GTX980Ti - Skill 32GB DDR4 Ram I use the iMac 18.3 system definition...

Advices on a Ghost S1 build?

I'm also looking into an ITX build, I found the Z370 fatal1ty is one of the more compatible boards out there. Thread for wifi: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/8th-9th-gen-itx-build.285560/ (this is the thread I created) Thread for the actual build...

The remainings of a MacPro 1,1

tbh the 771 chips are pretty trash nowadays and dual CPU motherboards expensive. I'd go on ebay and get a cheapo i5-2500(k) mainboard, cpu & ram combo which most likely will be cheaper, faster and more reliable than a hacked up trash-computer (I did that and honestly I'd rather spend the 50...

    GTX780 vs GTX980Ti Performance

Hey Guys, my GTX780 just died and I swapped in my GTX980Ti which I had in my 2nd PC. So far everything works just fine, installation of the GPU driver was really easy and straightforward. Now to my question: How does the GTX980Ti compare to the 780 in Final Cut? I have no numbers to compare...

    8th/9th Gen ITX Build

Thanks for your Answers, I know I should stay away from NV, but tbh, 10.13.6 works and I literally only use FCPX. For any other usecase I boot to Windows (Don't ask me why, it's just the way I like to work). Plus I already have a really nice 980Ti and plan to keep on using it. That said, the...

    8th/9th Gen ITX Build

I'm looking into building a Z370/Z390 ITX based hackintosh. Parts I currently have: - SFX 750W PSU - GTX980Ti - Some random drives. I use my hackintosh exclusively for video editing, so staying on High Sierra isn't bad. I do however wanna use the iGPU in headless mode for that QuickSync. I'm...
