Something is screwed in the ACPI tabled when you flash the bios, hell knows what. But if your machine worked properly before the flash and you perform a CMOS reset and reflash, it will work as it did before

It happened to me as well. I fixed it by a CMOS reset (Turn power OFF on the PSU, press the On/Off button until all power is gone from the board, press the CMOS reset button on the motherboard for 10-15 seconds, restore power) and reflashing 1503. Apparently, if you do a CMOS reset, 1603 should...

Dear Salvatore, I have the same issue as you. Upgraded to 1603, then downgraded to 1503 but even after cmos reset no usb except the 3.1 works. Could you please detail what you did to fix it? Also, do you have the port limit patch active or a custom kext? Thanks
