If you change any settings in your BIOS, you're required to again patch your DSDT as the SystemMemory address of the original one changes.
Also make sure to apply these basic patches..
and darkwake=8
Sorry for my negligence, after fixing the SystemMemory addresses issue and setting darkwake=8, not only does audio stick after sleep but it's much more stable than before.
Thanks @RehabMan , fixed. :)
Sorry for my negligence on this issue. After fixing SystemMemory addresses, everything works okay.
No more kernel panics, and the black screen issue hasn't come back at all.
Thank you @Fraxul @RehabMan @headkaze and vit for all your hard work. :)
With the latest version of WEG, this is what happens when I run sudo kextcache -i /
kxld[as.vit9696.WhateverGreen]: The following symbols are unresolved for this kext:
kxld[as.vit9696.WhateverGreen]: KernelPatcher::eraseCoverageInstPrefix(unsigned long long, unsigned long)

So I have realtek ALC 892 on my laptop and the audio won't stick after waking up from sleep.
Found a script which essential unloads and loads the AppleHDA when run, so running this script after waking up starts the audio but it's a hacky solution also 2/5 times the script fails and says -...
Yeah, deleted the DSDT.aml as I don't really need it, it's only patched for brightness keys and they are bugged, so don't need it.
PR files attached after a restart.
Sorry, I was waiting for an actual panic to happen to capture the logs.
So I put the hack to sleep and it rebooted just like that.
Logs are attached.
Also, this doesn't happen without WEG.
For me, the black screen issue is gone for good after using Fraxul's SSDT-PNLF and latest WEG, but the system just reboots sometimes while playing youtube videos or using xCode, there's literally no verbose log, just reboots....like that.
Im sure this is because of WEG, because without it, it...
So it works for some hardware configs and not for others, that's a heart break. :(
@RehabMan could you take a look and tell me if I'm missing something out?
Well, this build has fixed waking up from sleep for me. Now the screen doesn't just stay black, it indeed wakes up normally.
Also, brightness works okay.
But the 3 mins black screen issue is still persistent for me. I don't know why.
PR files attached.
Are you talking about the official github (Vit's) or headkaze's fork?
EDIT: I suppose you used the vit's latest build. Did you use the igfxcflbklt=1 and enable-cfl-backlight-fix boot flags as indicated in the readme?
Okay, so I probably didn't have the shutdown issue but when I really got mojave to work with UHD630, the only thing left was functional sleep/wake.
So after a lot of testing various variables, the thing that fixed sleep for me was using EmuVariableUEFI, before, I was only using AptioMemoryFix...
Okay, had the same issue and this is how I fixed it
-Delete WhateverGreen.kext if you have it installed, since you're on Mojave, UHD630 should work natively, as they work on mine.
-Put EmuVariableUefi-64.efi in drivers64UEFI (this I dunno how, actually fixes sleep for me, when I remove it, I...
The login screen issue is gone, I can get to desktop now but still the waking up is broken.
If its any help, after waking up, on the black screen when I press keyboard keys I can hear macOs sounds, indicating that the login screen is present, it's just that the backlight isn't loading.
EDIT...
