seems like the most recent 10.13.6 security update has broken the Nvidia web drivers, is there a fix? or should I just wait for the next set of drivers?
trying to get graphics acceleration to work properly . I enable windows 8.1/10 WHQL support (disabling csm). Under AMI graphic output protocol policy i see "unknown device" and "unknown driver". any idea how to fix that? it won't let me boot with those settings, but without it i get a square...
Using a MSI x299 Raider motherboard, and the i7 7800x CPU. Everything is working fine other than not having GPU acceleration. RadeonDelnit doesn't help and the Lilu/Whatevergreen Kexts don't work either. The device ID is in the AMD kexts, but they don't seem to be injecting properly. I tried...
Hello. I Followed KGP's guide for a x299 iMac pro. I was able to get 10.13.4 working fine, the only issue was no GPU acceleration. I attempted to upgrade to 10.13.5 using the update downloaded from the app store, but it boots to a black screen and i can't view the screen via screen sharing like...
Using a 4K monitor now and have switched to the Radeon Pro WX 7100. No acceleration (it loads as a 7mb display) in 1920x1080, and the Kexts don't load. It might just be an issue with 10.13.4. don't know for sure.
I'm using 10.13.4, latest os update. Device ID is 0x67c4. It turns out that i didn't Enable Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support (meaning csm was enabled). now the screen loads as 1024x768. it's a 4k monitor so i'd ideally like to be able to increase the screen resolution
I'm having trouble getting the WX 7100 to show a screen resolution other than 800x600 and when i use kextstat -1 in terminal it shows that only the AMD Support Kext is loaded. and ideas?
I'm running and X299 MOBO with a i7 7800x CPU. This is the 3rd AMD GPU i've attempted to get to work. The computer boots without issues other than no acceleration and the screen resolution stuck at 800x600. when i run Kextchache -1 in terminal it shows me that only the AMDSupport Kext loads and...
the monitor has DVI and VGA inputs. I've tried both, along with a DP to DVI adapter. I did add Lilu and whatevergreen kexts. With some changes like that i'm now able to not have a totally black screen, but i have no acceleration and the display resolution is stuck at 800x600
I'm using an HDMI to DVI converter and DVI is going into the monitor. I got some help from the AMD on OS X discord server and added the Lilu kext. now it boots, but there is no hardware acceleration, the screen is stuck at 800x600.
I initially installed my system with an amd r9 270. I decided to get a new one cause the screen would not scale properly cause it wasn't supported. I purchased a rx 580 and installed it. However it boots to a black screen. I've tried editing the amd controller kexts, but that still boots to...
