    X299 Big Sur Support

It totally worth it, I have a 6800xt and Final loves it. It replaces a Radeon VII, totally satisfied!

    X299 Big Sur Support

That's even worse: I own a 6800XT (not a 6900XT). But I read somewhere that 6900XT cards were not fully supported yet.

Hi Woodcabin, Just to clarify, the Luxmark scores represents CPU+GPU on Luxball. On GB5, the scores are: OpenCL: 111359 Metal: 173691 More comparison on Luxmark (GPU only): Lobby: 10508 Neumann: 42186 Luxball: 55211 I'm currently working on the post-install process, I'm still on a...

Will OSX support new 6800/XT cards?

After the 11.4 release, 6800XT is fully supported (Gigabyte basic edition - I've not tried USB-C to plug a monitor - a USB-C stick doesn't work).

    X299 Big Sur Support

After the 11.4 release, the 6800XT worked immediately! Just to compare, on a pristine BigSur install, just with Luxmark v3 installed: MSI Radeon VII (CPU+GPU) : 55618 Gigabyte 6800XT (CPU+GPU) : 61327 Many tests were successful with common video Apps (Final Cut / Adobe suite). I can now move...

Hi Egroys, I've tried and retried, nothings different. I'll let this down for now and stick with windows until I get an rx580 or Navi card. Thanks for your help!

    X299 Big Sur Support

Thanks Egroys, I'm trying this now, we'll see… (About the graphic card, it's a 6800xt, my signature needs an update!) [EDIT] Unfortunately, it didn’t work, I get stuck on 3 « AppleKeyStore » error: What is your BIOS version and what guide did you follow to configure it, Dortania’s or KGP’s ...

    X299 Big Sur Support

X299 trouble Hello there, I've just tried to make a clean install, but after dozens of tries with Dortania's guide and this thread, I cannot reach the Big Sur installation GUI. It seems that everything loads well, but errors will appear with: “disks3s3 device is write locked". The USB stick...

Will OSX support new 6800/XT cards?

I confirm, my OpenCore config won’t finalise the boot sequence at this stage with a Radeon 6800XT (replaces a Radeon VII, which works flawlessl). I’m waiting for the 11.1 release to retry with these drivers...

    X299 Big Sur Support

Unfortunately, the card is not plug and play for now: the boot sequence fails at one point. I’ve read somewhere that the Radeon 68xx drivers are in the 11.1 beta, there‘s a workaround somewhere, for sure!

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hi KGP, I've been running my system almost flawlessly for a while (almost identical to yours except the Graphic card and the CPU) thanks to this huge work. Though, for a few days, I fear my user session is "cursed": a kernel panic occurs within the first minute after opening, while I don't have...
