Just an update to everyone here, I've fixed nearly everything (Less Wake/Sleep to test, and WLAN - Hopefully due to faulty hardware)
Once again, a Build will be posted after these are addressed or abandoned
Wi
Will check again once I’m at it! Was previously working fine in the previous build
Just wondering, what’s the best chip out there right now amongst OOB ones? Looking to get out of this card.. it’s been through 2 years of hackintoshing with me and it’s kinda sluggish imo
Additionally, how...
Can also confirm sleep/wake is borked. Left the machine locked on idle and it died in 30 minutes (Like the next time I did a power on, it started, like fresh start)
BCM94360NG doesn't seem to work OOB anymore for me. Can't seem to Google for the right information regarding this. Anyone has an advice on this? Bluetooth is working but Wifi is not.
Additionally, am still getting this issue.
Sleep works fyi.
Two issues left to squash before its 100% done
GPRW/UPRW/LANC Instant Wake Patch
Doesn't seem to work even after activation.. Ran the command in the Dortania guide:
2022-08-02 02:04:39 +0800 Sleep Entering Sleep state due to 'Idle Sleep':TCPKeepAlive=inactive Using AC (Charge:0%) 15 secs
2022-08-02 02:04:54 +0800 DarkWake...
Tried all layout-ids for audio.. Doesn't work.. anyone has advice? Or am I checking it wrongly?
Set the layout-id via alcid=X
Reboot
Check Sound if the board's input appears as one of the options
Try again
Or am I supposed to check IOReg?
Really sorry about this Casey, mind adding more details as per what you have changed here? Going to prep it for my User Builds post eventually! Thank you so much
Apart from
Sleep/Wake
USB
Maybe Audio? Sound Settings not picking up the board's Audio though, is it only supposed to show when plugged in?
What else needs to be fixed? Intel LAN works. I think WLAN maybe.. I'm using the recommended BCM chip I think (That I bought years ago that works OOB)
I had everything plugged out, less keyboard and USB.
The two black USB ports are the only ones used. I booted with 2 variations, with each of the keyboard and USB plugged in both ports in separate attempts. To no avail, same issue!
