[Guide] XIAOMI Notebook Air 12.5" KabyLake High Sierra 10.13.1

Hi guys! Thanks to @MarshalX for sharing with us the git repository to make multi-touch gestures work: all is awesome! I’d like to know if one of you have found a solution for the trackpad that doesn’t work after sleep. The fix by @talebabatto (use sleep button in apple menu) doesn’t work for me...

[GUIDE] Getting R9 290/390 (non-X) to work on Sierra (10.12) AND High Sierra (10.13)

I've only modified the 3 kexts I wrote some posts above following the procedure in the 1st post (so, using those terminal commands, but without touching clover and BIOS settings), and my 290 works perfectly on Mojave (yesterday I reinstalled all the OS, and GPU works fine). Why don't you try?

[GUIDE] Getting R9 290/390 (non-X) to work on Sierra (10.12) AND High Sierra (10.13)

Honestly, no. But I think editing official kexts is the better way to get these GPUs to work. Touching clover, you "force" the recognition and there is the possibility that you will lose some features. For example, if you inject our GPU through clover (injectATI), system will see two monitor...

[GUIDE] Getting R9 290/390 (non-X) to work on Sierra (10.12) AND High Sierra (10.13)

Yes. You have to do these steps for all updates that overwrite video kexts (almost all).

[GUIDE] Getting R9 290/390 (non-X) to work on Sierra (10.12) AND High Sierra (10.13)

In order to make work my R9 290, I've modified the following kexts: - AMD8000Controller.kext (twice, as said in this guide); - AMDRadeonX4000.kext (as said in this guide); - AMDRadeonX4000HWServices.kext (adding GPU id, 0x67B11002, in the right place, but now I can't verify exactly the line...

GPU Recognized but not being used for acceleration

Finally it works! I modified the following kexts adding my GPU id: - AMD8000Controller.kext (twice); - AMDRadeonX4000.kext; - AMDRadeonX4000HWServices.kext. Kexts you have to modify depend by your GPU model, but I don't know what you should do for your RX460.

GPU Recognized but not being used for acceleration

I've the same problem, but with a R9 290. With macOS 10.13.3 (using whatever green, lilu, and adding deviceID to AMD8000 and X4000 controllers) it worked perfectly, but now, on 10.13.4, GPU is recognized, but not used for acceleration. I've tried ATIinjection, framebuffer edit etc, but nothing...

Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with an R9 290 and the latest macOS update (10.13.4). In macOS 10.13.3, in order to set up my GPU, I had to add its deviceID (0x67B11002) to AMD8000 and X4000 controllers, install WhateverGreen, and all worked perfectly. Now I've a strange problem: GPU is recognized...

[GUIDE] Getting R9 290/390 (non-X) to work on Sierra (10.12) AND High Sierra (10.13)

Hi! Thanks for the guide, my Sapphire R9 290 finally works. I'm on High Sierra, and I followed these steps: - Set iGPU as primary; - Hex edits of the first post; - Checked ATI injection; - Fake Id: 0x067B01002 - FB: Baladi; - Latest version of WhatEverGreen, AppleALC and Lilu copied in Clover's...
