For me, this issue is solved. I've switched to a Radeon RX560 and it worked right out of the box (just the RadeonEnable in Clover). With the Radeon card everything works smooth and without any problems. Perfect!
Hm. I'm still on Sierra and I'm using my hackintosh only for DAW purposes. Is there a 4k GPU for Sierra in the field which works without these problems?
Hm. I still have these issues. Ableton Live got a recent update with 60 frames per second support. I've switched to a UWQHD display (iiyama ProLite XUB3490WQSU). And I've tried a Geforce GT1060 instead of a 1050TI.
At some point my UI gets laggy. It disappears when I'm using a FullHD resolution...
My wish is a little more 2D performance with higher resolutions. When I switch to 4k or a WQHD, some software gets a bit laggy. In my case it's Ableton Live. I'm working with a Palit GTX 1050 Ti KalmX 4GB.
Here are more details about this issue...
What I'm wondering about: Should I change anything XCPM related when I have a different CPU?
I'm using a 6800k (and it works fine), but the installation is based on a 6960X.
Hey,
With the help of Koush X99 EFI (Thanks again!), I've built an x99 based Hackintosh. Here's my configuration:
GA-X99P-SLI
i7-6800k
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M4A2800C16
Palit GTX 1050 TI passive
Sierra 10.12.6
Latest nVidia WebDriver (for Pascal)
I use this setup mainly for DAW...
I'm using the GTX 1050 TI with the Nvidia drivers and a 4K display. Everything works well... except little UI lags in larger Ableton Live projects. My screen resolution is scaled down via the monitor settings. Does someone experience the same behaviour? Small UI lags on a scaled down 4k display?
Thank you so much for your work and the Github EFI. I'm an hackintosh newbie, and my installation works extremely well. The whole process was really smooth. Thank you!
That's my config:
GA X99p-SLI
i7-6800k
Corsair Vengeance LPX DIMM Kit 16GB
Samsung M.2 EVO 960 500GB
Palit GTX 1050 TI
