Why Radeon RX Vega 64/56 is not in compatibility list?

Vega support isn't perfect yet. I have a Vega 64 and overall it's been a TON better than my GTX 1050 and GTX 1060s were, but there are still issues. From what I understand the RX 580 should be pretty much flawless these days. IMO that's what the recommended card should be for everyone.

Why are we still recommending Nvidia cards?

I 100% agree with OP. I tried a GTX 1050 and GTX 1060 in my build and had lots of issues with both - mostly in Jetbrains IDEs (Android Studio and AppCode). My entire system would get extremely laggy and the only solution was to unplug my HDMI/DisplayPort cable for a few seconds, then plug it...

    GTX 1070 vs. RX580

From my experience the Nvidia web drivers are still buggy. Random slowdowns, a few crashes here and there, occasional black screens when waking up from sleep, etc. I just switched from a GTX 1060 to an RX Vega and it's amazing how much more stable my system is. I would absolutely go for an AMD...

Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 on macOS

Is Chrome bug-free for you too? I'm on the fence on getting a Vega, but I'm really not willing to give up Chrome.

AMD Vega or Nvidia Pascal Card?

From what I've read, it seems like Vega cards work out of the box in High Sierra. Is there any reason to prefer Nvidia cards? Nvidia's web drivers are still kind of buggy, so why does the buying guide not recommend Vega cards at all?

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

I'm back to not having audio again. I've tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling all audio related fixes and the cloverALC script isn't bringing my devices back. I'm at a loss for what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

As I'd mentioned in my first post, I can't seem to figure out how to get the "Copy Of Console/All Messages (last boot)" logs, as the High Sierra console won't anything before the moment I open the app. I'm probably missing something, but I haven't found a way to get earlier logs than that.

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

I just rebooted again (still no changes from last time) and have no audio devices again. Any ideas what next steps might be?

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Thanks for all that. I'll keep an eye on it and will update if the issue returns. FWIW, the duplicate SSDTs were the .dsl files and the .aml files. I just keep both around in case I need to make changes later. SSDT-PTS was temporarily removed for testing other things, not related to this stuff.

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Huh...all of the sudden I have audio back. I've rebooted 10 or so times in a row with no changes and the last one "fixed" it. Is there something in my config that might cause audio to be flaky like this?

No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Audio was working well for me for a week or so after updating to High Sierra. Today out of nowhere it stopped and I haven't been able to get it back. I haven't made any changes to my clover config or installed any new software or kexts, so I'm pretty confused as to what's going on. I currently...

[05/02 Added Temporary Fix] Pascal / GTX 1060 Glitching after waking from sleep

I have a 1050 as well and have both the corrupt display and not booting from sleep issues. I don't think it's specific to the 1060.

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

The USBHubPowerFix kext did it, mostly. I modified the values of kUSBSleepPortCurrentLimit and kUSBWakePortCurrentLimit and got an additional 500mA extra operating current out of it. It's not the normal 1600mA extra, but it's enough to keep it juiced up while I'm using it. Thanks for all your help.

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

Wow, you're amazing at figuring this stuff out. It was plugged into a hub (which has external power as well). When I plugged the iPad straight into the mobo it got the correct power. My Macbook is able to give it full power using the same hub, so I figured it would work. Is there a way to get...

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

Ah you're right. I'm not sure why I didn't see that before. I'm still only getting 500mA to my iPhone/iPad even though everything appears to be correct though.

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

I'm hoping someone can take a look at my setup and tell me what's wrong. I followed the guide very closely, but must be missing something. AppleBusPowerUSB is now showing up under my faked EC, but I still have no USBX. AppleBusPowerControllerUSB has all the right values for the power supply...

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

Is there another guide that does? Or is this a problem that hasn't been solved yet? I've tried searching and haven't come up with much.

[Guide] Creating a Custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext

I'm a little unclear what to do with 2 of my USB ports that do not show up as an EHC or XHC entry. The two ports that aren't showing up are my only USB 3.1 port and my only USB-C port and they're both under RP01 instead of XHC like the rest of my ports. I have the port limit patch added and have...
