    One of the reasons I modded my bios was to disable the hotplug option on the ultrabay slot so macOS would recognise any storage device inside the ultrabay caddy I wonder why they did that since the drives clearly weren't meant to be hotswapped after the haswell series

    Laptops have gotten really expensive in general since covid 19 Like a year ago you could've easily gotten a T430, T440p or something along those lines for like 100-150 bucks.

    I doubt the 730M would be that much faster than the HD 4600, especially since you can throw a modded 4980HQ with the Iris 5200 graphics inside (have to sacrifise the laptops displayport tho, docking stations DP still works)

    Reminds me of when I couldn't charge the my battery the other day no matter what OS. Had to do an EC reset by cutting off all power from the machine and holding down the power button for like 20-30 seconds. Happened like 2-3 times now.

    1. It works either way. In fact, I first installed it on a second drive to test it out before I then updated my main catalina installation. 2. Shouldn't be an issue, just make sure you remove the entries in the config.plist also

    I updated the 0.5.9 EFI to 0.6.1, updated all the kexts execpt AppleALC, added itlwm, Ultrabay patch and the instant wake fix. Big Sur boots now but audio doesn´t work because of the outdated kext and if you inject the newest version of said kext you can´t use ALCPlugFix I wonder what he...

    Now that the iMac Pro is out, it will be interesting to see if iMacPro1,1 plays well together with your hackintosh, since the iMac Pro also uses the LGA2066 socket.

    What did you use to enable audio on this mobo in Sierra? I literally tried everything and still no audio :(.
