I think that sata3 gets negotiated speeds at 1.5 - but there might be a kextfix that for that

at all? the card claims it works with real mac pros, wouldn't it work then? I've read people getting it to work with the sandybridge procs

So i have purchased a eSATA 6G PCIe 2.0 Controller Card but it still shows up as unknown. I know it uses the Marvel 88SE9128 chipset. It works but only at half speeds. Anyone have any luck getting these to work at full speeds? or have a SataIII solution??! thanks!

Yea, I have them now hooked up to the card i just purchased. but now that doesnt show up as sata3!!! it still comes up as sata2 and even with a slow negotiated speed of 1.5 i dont understand. the card is supposed to be plug/play with a real mac
