I managed to update my NUC from High Sierra to Catalina 10.15.4 with the EFI from the first post with Clover r5107 and a fake EC by a SSDT_EC.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/.

I've been struggling for a looong time with our ALC 283 ... especially to get hot plug support and prevent codec sleep ... you can have look to my studies here I don't have enough to time to look to this again but if you want to add EAPD support to Input 019 and Output 021 you should add...

Audio is fine on Sierra. it's a good choice, should work OOB (not compatible with BIOS though) If you don't folow my guide I won't help you sorry

which version are you using (there are so many releases of this kext ...)

1) Check "ShutDownFix" is enable in your config.plist, it can also be related to USB (try to unplug USB device and then sut down) 2) possible see post 426 of my El capitan thread : #426

I think so : have look to Lilu + IntelGraphicsFixup Audio should be easy to fix if you want to use AppleALC283 (just recreate the injector with the same layout/platform) Better solution if you don't need MIC : AppleALC

OK so something is definitively wrong with HDA ... which versions of Clover/macOS are you running ?

I don't use Unibeast so I'm not able to help someone using it ... Screenshots and bios configuration are the exact same as for the 10.11 guide. Prefer Merge instead of Replace, but both work for a new install. There has been plenty of changes about Aptiofix on Clover, and I won't give every...
