This guide is awesome...and site. Got my i7-7700k 4.2ghz overclocked to 5ghz AORUS z270x GAMING K7 GTX1060 using Sound over HDMI to my 4k TV/Monitor (30hz). The system seems to be working perfectly now after a couple of bumps in the road early on. The motherboard made it a no-brainer to go from...
Also, IMHO, best thing I did was put two drives in that I installed OSX on. This way when I break the first I install again "Vanilla" to the 2nd and when that is running I can go back and "fix" the first one. Saved me now 4x at least.

[fixed the issue with crashing]
It was going so well...4k resolution (30hz) over HDMI, i7-7700k at 5ghz, Sound over HDMI, Z270X Motherboard...all I wanted was to get the USB3 going, maybe they were but my attempts to plug in external USB drives were not working.
I used MultiBeast and added...
Thank you so much!!! Yes, you saved me with this. Worked like a charm. Once I put that file in that spot and rebooted Bam! Not only was nVidia Drivers (Installed latest first 3x) used but my 4k resolution over HDMI (Edited the EFI/Clover/config.plist
