hiDPI custom resolutions macOS Big Sur Apple Silicon

I'm plugging my late 2020 M1 MacBook Air into the following 21:9 1440p monitor over USB-C - https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-35wn75c-b-ultrawide-monitor. There are no hiDPI resolutions available to select in displays or using RDM. I downloaded SwitchResX and tried to set some custom resolutions...

Boot into Installer Hanging: Unibeast High Sierra

My system: Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Intel i5-4590 Radeon R9-390 Should I use multibeast? How can I get my graphics card working, I had to unplug it for the installation. What kexts should I include? What options should I choose if I use multibeast? I don't want to mess things up.

Boot into Installer Hanging: Unibeast High Sierra

LOL okay I'll try after work. Gotta get my screwdrivers to unplug the card. This was easier last time I did this on Sierra (same computer).

My system: Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H Intel i5-4590 Radeon R9-390 I used Unibeast to create the install media, which was successful, I select 'boot into install Mac...' it gets about halfway through the loading bar and hangs with a frozen spinning loading icon. I made sure to set BIOS options to...

[Guide] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover

I already have it installed on the entire HD so I can't leave free space. Can I "add" a HFS+J placeholder or am I SOL in adding Windows 10 to my install?

[Guide] Sierra on HP Spectre x360

I tested it on a linux live usb (elementaryOS), it had the same problem (for reference this computer ran fine on elementaryOS with the same WiFi card last week). It displays the device so it must be getting data from it somehow but once again it is disabled and the toggle to enable doesn't work.

Ok thanks, that fixed the trackpad. System now detects. WiFi still sadly broken though. Also fixed the keyboard issue of not being able to change control with command etc..

[Guide] Sierra on HP Spectre x360

The guide says all non essential kexts should be in S/L/E. That's where they are. I don't know what you want from me.

[Guide] Sierra on HP Spectre x360

While I wait for the ability to check on the WiFi operation on an alternative OS. Do you have any ideas on why my trackpad is not detected in system preferences. It has the unfortunate result of not being able to right click. It also moves slowly? TY Edit: it's just stuck on the Mac default...

My mistake. I'm at work now, can't check on this. My theory is that the hardware failed which is pretty lame considering I bought it less than 2 weeks ago...

[Guide] Sierra on HP Spectre x360

I didn't see any question regarding WiFi on Windows. I imagine such a question might be "does the wifi work on windows" which I cannot currently answer as I don't have a windows partition currently. Maybe I'll check on an ubuntu live usb... Would that work? Is that what you're asking?
