I want to use a Magic Trackpad II, which works with a PCI card, but now I’d like to move the machine two floors away into a rack (using a fiber HDMI) and I’m trying to see how I can get a Bluetooth NIC near where I need it perhaps using a USB extender. It will have to be Bluetooth 4 for sure...
That, I have done here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/audio-hdmi-audio-applehda-guide.143760/page-292#post-1511408
I suppose I could re-run them with the DP to HDMI adapter when I get back to the machine.
Thanks!
Well, for $20, it's worth a shot. I imagine if other somewhat similar pascal series products work well, so will mine. Are others out there using a 1050 or similar with success on either port?
Thanks for looking into this. Bummer.
Based on what you see I can just get a passive DP to HDMI 4k adapter and audio should work?
I'm not sure I can get 4K @ 60Hz with a passive adapter, would active adapters work too?
Hi! Unfortunately, I'm unable to get my audio to work. Please see the info attached/below. Can you help? Thanks!

Hmm, I'm not sure how it got in this thread. I'll repost in the right place once I download the files on a computer in the morning. Please don't delete this post until tomorrow afternoon.

I have the same question (HDMI Audio out to a Samsung TV 2.0b compliant) with a EVGA 1050 SC with config as below. Happy to try anything! :). Thanks for any ideas!
Does anyone know how to use the NVIDIA Web driver and HIDPI? I don't see any reference to NVIDIA in this thread and some seem to have had issues when the device wasn't set correctly. Thanks!
Thank you for making the changes (or just uploading a plist that might work). My problems I think stem from having trouble getting the machine to boot properly after getting it to install. I was advised to try copying the EFI folder from the USB. I did that but then I tried to go through the...
I believe I've done this now, but I'm still having the same result. The web drivers on startup are selected but the system preferences for NVIDIA don't recognize the card. If one of these settings didn't take, would you still expect that NVIDIA won't recognize the Pascal card in its...
I have a new build but when I go to PCI in system profiler it doesn't see the card. If I go to Graphics/Displays, it says it's a x16 lane NVIDIA card with 3 MB (not a typo) of RAM. The system preferences NVIDIA driver doesn't see anything in that slot. To note, I am using the card, but just at...
Once I was able to get Mac OS installed on the drive (my issue with the "don't steal" error before was before I got to the installer), and I followed the instructions in the first post to a T using multibeast and below, and then I got the darn "don't steal" error message again when trying to...
