bump for any other tips?

Thanks for tip, I tried that, but now when I connect Ethernet is says "not connected" - before trying this it used to say "connected" but it couldn't see the NAS drives. Now it doesn't see them and says "not connected". Any additional tips?

solved - must follow steps for the Premiere Cuda Hack - once done, you can change the render setting to MPE instead of software only.

Hackintosh is up and running and I downloaded the latest nvidia driver and cuda driver - plus dsdt from tonymac. I'm trying to figure out if my system is actually taking advantage of the cuda driver in premiere or if I need to do something to "activate/hack" it? Using a MSI GT240 1GB DDR5 card.

Currently I'm getting 13.9fps cinebench using a GT240 1GB DDR5. I've read a number of posts and it sounds like you may be able to get closer to 30, same as the card on a PC, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer for the work-around. Any tips? btw - I am running a VGA monitor, not sure...

So, I tried unplugging my airport card and then the graphics card did show up as x16. However, the fps is the same - 13.9. So is there really any advantage to having x16 over x8? If so, examples? And if so, how can I make slot 1 stay x16 while plugging in my airport to the x4 slot?
