    Many Thanks for looking into this MacMan, Other members have seen this post and 1 other and didn't even reply. As an FYI I am using the "Onboard" Graphics as I saw there was an install issue with 6450 Graphics cards. If I need to change Motherboard or CPU PLEASE advise on what will work. Lugnut.

    Many Thanks for your input. I was only using SL to be able to get and install more recent versions of OSX. I did manage to connect via a Ethernet cable and download El Capitan.
