No, I’m using a gt 1030 now. But it works well with the Nvidia drivers and sleep will work as long as you have PluginType enabled AND you are using a GPU.
I’ve got an msi gt 1030 (the mini itx version with a fan), and I finally got sleep working a couple weeks ago. All I really had to do was set PluginType to enabled in config.plist. I believe this will make power management/sleep work on all hackintoshes with Skylake CPUs or later.
Thanks, I really appreciate your help :)
System components:
Core i3 6100
AsRock Z170A X1
TP-LINK ARCHER T6E wifi adapter
MSI gt 1030 ITX (I'm using the DVI-D port for my monitor)
Those are the ones that I think matter in this case, let me know if you need to know more than that.
I use iMac...
Gt 1030 not waking from sleep. It reboots instead. I don’t know if it’s a driver issue or my system, but it isn’t working and it’s really frustrating me. Are there issues with the drivers that prevent sleep?
I can’t get sleep/wake to work properly for some reason. If anyone’s got it working can you tell me what kexts you have and maybe add your config.plist to look at? I’m currently using iMac 14,2 but I’d be willing to switch if something else might work better. Thanks!
Hi all, I’ve heard that the gt 1030 is working great in hackintosh builds, so I went ahead and got myself one. I can boot fine with it, play games, and everything else seems normal except one thing: it still can’t sleep. I’ve got the latest drivers, and I’m on 10.12.6. I’ve tried reading and...
Hardware:
i3 6100
8 gb ddr4
Integrated graphics
AsRock z170 x1 motherboard
So when I boot, the loading bar comes up and then it doesn't move. With -v, it gets never gets stuck at the exact same place but it's always close. I can't find any XHCI setting in my bios, could that be why? I don't...
Okay, so I've built the computer (with no GPU).
I'm stuck at the Apple boot logo. I've tried -x, -v, GraphicsEnabler=No, and dart=0.
Also, my bios doesn't seem to have a setting for XHCI. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Anyone know for sure if the new GT 1030 will be compatible with the current drivers for MacOS? I'm thinking of getting one but I'm not completely sure because of the potential lack of support.
Thanks!
Also willing to consider buying an i3 6100..... much less money than the i5 and I don't think I need my computer to be too powerful. I just want Sierra to run well.
Alright, how do you think my wifi card will work? I've read that it works for most people.
I'm hoping to use integrated graphics. Is there a way to get sleep to work properly without buying a graphics card?
Thanks!
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. I want to make my first hackintosh with these parts:
Mobo:
ASRock Z170A-X1/3.1 Intel Skylake
CPU:
Either a core i5 6400, or a pentium g4560 (to wait for the 8th gen i5, which will very likely use the LGA 1151 socket. It's...
