I'm honestly surprised it's 2019 now and the simple issue still hasn't been resolved. It's been mentioned countless times on sourceforge under Hibernate.c and many forums and no one seems to give a f. Slice clearly noticed it but he seems to have left it unresolved.
For future reference I'm on...
Hi again,
Lately I've figured out most issues appeared on this Hackintosh. However, I still have some other issues that cannot be fixed by myself which is why I'm here again. I am currently on macOS 10.12.6 and this is an XPS 13 9333 with i5 4200U, HD4400, a Synaptics touchscreen (seems to be a...
Yes. On the System Report page the Synaptics touchscreen is under the USB (Apple USB2.0 HUB) tab (although I am not quite sure about it, but it should be). Also I have a Synaptics Touch pad which seems to be a PS2 device.
The IOReg and other info are in the archive file.
Hello !
Great work for I2C devices ! Sorry to bother you, but I have got into trouble that although the device seems to appear in IORegistryExplorer, there is no response when I touch the screen.
This is a macOS 10.12.6 on Dell XPS 13 9333 (i5 4200U) with the Synaptics Touchscreen

Does anyone have a solution to this? Or could it be my config.plist is corrupted? Do I have to reinstall the system? Just wondering what I should do now. I'm such a noob in hackintoshing :(
OK, but there's no FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext in /S/L/E either, what should I do now? Currently I still cannot boot into macOS via safe boot. Thanks a lot for your quick response.
Umm...after I had applied safe mode in clover's boot screen it still showed the panic message. However, I managed to mount the HFS+ partition in Windows but I did not found FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext in /L/E. Instead, I found FakeSMC.kext in that directory. Should I delete it?
On boot the log said
'panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff801bbff2dd)...Fault CPU: 0x0, PL: 0, VF: 1
BSD...thread: Unknown
Mac OS Version: Not yet set.' [Screenshot is attached]
On last boot I had just run the ssdtPRGen script for my CPU and copied the ssdt file to EFI/Clover/ACPI/patched. Besides, I...
Thanks a lot.
This fixed the red background problem but still I couldn't get the 1600x900 working. It's quite weird that all of the resolutions with HiDPI did not change in RDM. I deleted all of the resolutions leaving the 1600x900 and 3200x1800. Maybe it's because my native screen resolution...
Here's my DisplayProductID plist.
There's just one thing that all the icon background color including the desktop background turn red(or pink maybe?) as long as I enable HiDPI mode on whatever resolution. Hopefully it'll fix that.
Besides I had used the 'Enable HiDPI' option in Quartz Debug...
Thank you!
YES, I've got the HiDPi for some other resolutions now, but unfortunately, after I followed the instructions I still can't get the HiDPi for 1600x900. Besides, whenever I change it to HiDPi resolution the desktop background strangely turn red.
These are my steps:
1.Enable HiDPi in...
Hi vbo, thanks for all the great staff you've done.
But do you know how to enable HiDPI for 1600x900 on macOS Sierra? Because the current resolution 1920x1080 makes things too small on XPS 13 9333. Till now I could only enable it for 1280x720 which makes things too big for me so I changed it...
