I read that, but I am still not sure about the whole process. (besides a few doubts about how to add things)
why does it needs OCLP? I mean those modifications allow some other patches that OCLP does I guess, right? they are not the full thing.
Thank you ald3m1r, that's what I had found as well. But it isn't that clear for me.
I don't really know where to read that. These patches can't work on normal OpenCore? As far as I understand OCLP is just automating things?
Anyway I'm using Dimmer extensivelly and even if it is the best solution this cannot replace a native one. Since the brightness is lowered in a linear fashion blacks get crushed the more you lowered it. I think that brightness modes do some sort of clever tricks to achieve an uniform contrast...
Yes that is indeed my speed, I had same results on my rmbp. I should test with a faster connection though, I have one near available. I'll report back.
I'm using 4979, I didn't find the courage to update it yet, I'm new to hackintosh!
My EFI folder is nothing special. Just the usual kexts, and...
I've tested some more, on the windows side as well to have a precise idea of it. The problem is indeed palm rejection. It's not as solid as on the windows side.
Is it something that would be very hard to improve?
Nice! I'm a noob and I like Mojave but it's nice to see things moving. I'll update my 7590 one day maybe.
Also if someone wants to do a youtube video for the installation feel free to do so ;) It helps a lot people that have no experience with it.
Ooh, scary stuff. Thanks for the heads up, I've disabled it!!
I didn't have any KP yet, but I'm curious to test. Also I should probably disable bluetooth and wifi driver since I'm using a BCM94360NG?
I was looking for solutions for tap to click extreme sensitivity (my cursor jumps around too much if I start to write in the middle of the keyboard) and found this old message. I'm not sure what you meant with FingerZ?
