    Help! random black screen

    Hi, I've been having random black screen in big sure for a while. I've tried adjusting my bios settings, different smbios, switching different EFIs. nothing works. Some people say it's because of the Navi 5700 xt power management issue. Can someone help me?

    Mine boots fine as well. you can use to clover configurator to set your boot drive manually. the only thing which bothers me is the install data drive showing at clover boot screen. Hopefully, there will be a fix coming out soon.

    updates: the issue is still not solved. I got two more hard freezes after changing the cooler back to h60, so I guess it was not overheating caused the freeze.

    got it! I download videos and watch them on my nvidia shield, that's why I used exfat for the majority of my external drives. Thanks for the tips. However, I'm still seeking solutions on what causes the crashes.

    Thank you so much for your answers! I have 4 hackintoshes and they all have the same ram which is Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 MHz DDR4 DRAM. other hacks don't have this issue. maybe I'll try to set XMP to default on this one.

    Hi Greg, Thank you soooo much for creating the appleALC kext!!! I spent my entire night researching how to fix the ALC1150 no sound on wake after 10.14.4 update and your file fixed it! I have 3 hackintoshs at home and only the one with ALC1150 had the problem after the update.

    I have 3 hackintosh computers, the other two are flawless. I tried a Saffire rx580 on this problem one, but it did not change anything. Now I am thinking about changing my motherboard. This problem is so annoying, I don't wanna spend any more time on it.

    it took me about a week to find this problem. I have an Intel 750 SSD installed on PCIe slot 2. I changed it to slot 3, problem fixed. It was interfering with my rx580 in slot one and the rx580 only run x8 lane width.
