For starters efix doesn't support p55 boards for os x. I boot is a disk that you use to load the operating system. It doesn't stay attached to the board like the efix usb dongle does. Plus Tony doesn't charge 250 for his iboot disk.

Kind of late to the party here as I had RMA'd a board, but I too can confirm with the PNY GTS 250 I get noise on the DVI port farthest from the motherboard. Switching it out quieted things down quite a bit.

That's interesting. I've had problems with vmware too, it usually works to run windows, but the system becomes less reliable. I recently updated to the new jmicron and I'm running windows fine. (knock on wood).

I did buy off of newegg, and it's version 1.0. I think my problem is that a friend helped me (not a problem really, it's all a learning experience for me) and he did a few extra steps that perhaps were not needed. I'm doing a new install of os x and following to a T.

I have a GA-P55M-UD2 rev 1 running F6 bios firmware. I get occasional kernal panics. Does everyone else w/ a GA-P55-UD2 get occasional kernel panics, or should I change my bios firmware? I think rev. 1 boards support F6, but maybe it's only 1.1 that supports F6... any suggestions?
