Had to reinstall Win 10 last night. (on a separate HDD) I disconnected all the other HDs and installed. Now this AM when trying to boot back to Mac BIOS doesn't see any UEFI partitions - not even for Windows. (although Windows boots fine)
I disconnected all but the main Mac HD and this is what...
Was working fine and decided to move my kexts to L/E (initially done incorrectly - now since corrected) but still won't boot.
All my kexts are in L/E - Other folder is empty. Only using minimal drivers. Last boot attempt showed the screenshot error (but was the furtherest I've booted so far!)...
Following Going Bald'd guide able to install Win10 on separate SSD - able to boot back into Mac OS no prob.
However on the Win side the graphic drivers for my RX 570 won't seem to install - keeping getting a code 43.
Googling that I see solutions from flashing the BIOS (which seems to work) to...
Seems to be popping up today (??) with no changes. Memory usage keeps soaring even when nothing is open. Recently did the switch over to Clover 5k and wondering if the AptioMemoryFix-64 is the culprit?
Bought a Fenvi wireless card a while ago and didn't realize it actually did not have the chip for it. Now I'm trying to install the chip and I cannot get the screw out to fully install the card. Any suggestions?
OK installed Mojave a little while ago but tired of waiting for NVIDIA drivers so was going to install HS on another SSD I haven't been using.
However every boot now I get stuck at the Clover screen and it barely seems to recognize the wired USB keyboard (which works fine in BIOS) and can't...
Has anyone been successful in connecting these? My Bluetooth will connect for a few seconds but won't hold it.
Using IOGEAR Bluetooth 4.0 USB Micro Adapter
Keyboard was working well this AM but when I came to computer it was shut down and now it won't recognize the Return key on Apple BT keyboard which kinda makes it useless. Keyboard setup won't recognize it either.
Anyone else have this issue?
Anyone have a solution for this? Searched all over the web and here and everyone seems to have their own solution but they don't seem to apply to me?
Anything consistently works?
Gosh I'm not stupid but this whole process is sure making me feel that way. I've spent 8 hours the last 2 nights...
Finally finished my desk and thus my computer INSIDE the desk. However I can't get it to boot up.
The power is (finally) all connected correctly - everything turns on and lights up - CPU fan, other fans, GPU, MB even has some lights on it and PSU.
USB boot stick is in 2.0 slot.
RAM is in 3 & 4...
Any hardware suggestions for a Hackintosh NAS? It seems like the Coffee Lake processors and 300-series MBs are not that much more expensive. Is it worth it to go with those or is that just overkill?
Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
I am using 2 of these:
MP 27" Zero-G 1440p 144Hz FREESYNC LED Gaming Monitor, Black VESA
with my build - my general question is there much difference if I connect with HDMI vs DP?
I have been reading a lot of these posts and plan on making a Hackintosh soon.
I saw this on Instructables and wondering if anyone had done something like this?
