Did you install Clover and other files onto the bootable hard drive/SSD as described in step 4 ?
Have you tried booting with Clover in verbose mode so you can see where it perhaps hangs?
What is the drive(s) configuration because NvmExpressDxe-64 isn't required unless a nvme drive has been...
fwiw, I don't see issues with sleep mode on my 9010 MT (i3-3225, HD4000, A20 bios, 10.14.6). ie. I click Sleep from menu, the 9010 eventually powers off with just blinking Power button. Wait a few minutes. Press the Power button again, and it wakes up, and ethernet is working.
Perhaps the...
See earlier post which I've updated.
Do the rear USB3 ports start working in Mojave if you unplug the front USB3 cable?
I'm no expert but only suggestion I can think of is to do a new install of Mojave with front USB3 cable attached....
fwiw, I'm also using old A20 BIOS on my 9010 MT. A22 to...
Have you tried booting your unibeast USB flash drive from front USB3 ports to see if it works.
Go into F5 diagnostics and check front USB3 cable is detected. ie. unplug the cable and an error should occur when you run diagnostics.
System report. I have a single USB2 flash drive inserted into...
fwiw, USB2 and USB3 front ports work fine on my 9010MT with Mojave with the provided SSDT file.
The front USB3 ports are served by a dedicated blue coloured 20 pin header socket located next to the blue SATA-0 socket. The front audio sockets and USB2 ports are served by the 20 pin cable found...
I just tried a clean install of 10.14.6 using instructions to a 9010MT/i3-3225/SSD connected direct to Samsung TV (hdmi).
One annoying issue, is it reverts to 'headphones' every time I restart even though no headphones are inserted. Sound preferences show 'Internal speakers', 'headphones' and...
On a different note, my system had been nagging me to update to 10.14.3 and I couldn't get rid of the nag message every time I went into System Preferences.
I finally relented and clicked on update. It's been 25 minutes since I rebooted to start the upgrade after completing download. The...
@trs96 Did you test both DP sockets?
I just tried the new AppleALC 1.3.5 and Lilu 1.3.3 and installed the new custom config.plist (layout-id 21), edited for Mac 6,1 and my serial numbers, ticked 'Inject Intel'.
I observed the following on my 7010 USFF (A25) with i3-3225 and 10.14.2.
HDMI...
fwiw, it is normal for 'Zero KB' to appear when you select a folder.
btw, you have also selected the wrong folder !
The image shows 'upgrade' which indicates you have previously installed the kexts into wrong folder. That may explain your boot issues perhaps?
I think you can navigate to the...
fwiw, wouldn't a DP to DVI-D cable be better for picture quality (eg. sharper small text) as it is all digital connection, whereas as VGA is 'analogue' and usually results in slightly blurry images?
my 7010 usff with i3-3225 HD4000 works fine with a cheap DP to DVI-D cable wired to old 19"...
Sorry, it was a typo error. I meant to say 9010 MT.
@trs96 ok. updated 7010 USFF to A29 without reinstalling Mojave from scratch. TV not listed as an HDMI audio output device when using DP socket nearest to ethernet socket as before. Labelling of microphone when inserted into front mic...
My Samsung TV won't work with A22 or higher on my 9010 MT when using HDMI from any discrete gfx card, and so reluctant to use anything newer. I'll try A25 and A29 later on the USFF to see if it fixes the HDMI audio issue.
False alarm. I just fixed the HDMI audio problem. I normally plug the DP cable into socket closest to the ethernet port on all my 7010/9010 out of habbit.
I just moved it to the second DP port furthest from the ethernet port, and HDMI audio is now working. I see 'Samsung' as an output device...
I've just completed @trs96 's rev.2 instructions for Mojave 10.14.2 on 7010 USFF i3-3225 with Crucial BX500 SSD. Display Port wired to Samsung TV.
There is no HDMI audio. With old install method, the brand of TV, Samsung, used to appear in System Preferences -> Sound -> Output tab. Only...
