    [Success] Gigabyte Z790 UD AC / i7-13700K / MSI RX 6650 XT

I imagine it should work fine. The chipset would play a much bigger part in whether the hackintosh would work or not.

    [Success] Gigabyte Z790 UD AC / i7-13700K / MSI RX 6650 XT

I see you're running quite different hardware than mine. But the general error seems to be stemming from the boot loader failing to load. I wonder if NVRAM is supported by your BIOS or whatever, maybe you need to add something for that? But the error loading wake-failure...

    [Success] Gigabyte Z790 UD AC / i7-13700K / MSI RX 6650 XT

I've made a bit of progress, and I'm at least into the installer right now. I had to fiddle a bit with some booter and BIOS settings. Start with these steps re: BIOS. I believe the two main changes I made to the booter -> quirks settings that made the difference form that post was: Enabling...

    [Success] Gigabyte Z790 UD AC / i7-13700K / MSI RX 6650 XT

Update: See my comment below, I was able to get this working with some more BIOS/booter tweaks. My GPU needs to be spoofed still, though, so that's up next. I'm trying my hand at a second build, with a fresh Ventura install. My previous build has worked quite well for ~5 years, but looking to...

WindowServer memory leak on High Sierra?

Ever since I finally upgraded to 10.13.4, I've been using version 106 without any problems.

WindowServer memory leak on High Sierra?

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I JUST bought a brand new Hackintosh with i7-7700k/64GB RAM/960 EVO/1060 6GB… and I was noticing some very obvious lag in the UI way too frequently. It was choppier and laggier than my 7 year old Hack. I was having buyer's remorse not even 24 hours after buying the hardware...

DSDT Help Needed: Lenovo Thinkstation D20

Also, I managed to boot off the internal drive finally. I found out that the SAS/SATA slots don't work (Marvell chip), but the ICH SATA controller does work fine.

DSDT Help Needed: Lenovo Thinkstation D20

Not yet, I haven't really played around with my Hackintosh in a while, although with the lacklustre hardware offerings coming from Apple, I've pulled it out again. I'm going to try again to get the RAM working as well as a working NIC. I couldn't get the NIC to work. After a day or so it would...

DSDT Help Needed: Lenovo Thinkstation D20

I've successfully got El Capitan running, booted from my internal PCIe NVMe SSD drive (by following the instructions in the link from my previous post). I've now got read/write speeds of 750+MB/s (I think I'll be limited to those speeds since it's only PCIe v1.0 on the D20). My only limitation...

Sierra Installs fine, won't boot - ThinkStation D20

I was able to get my Hackintosh working, but only by trying El Capitan instead of Sierra. I was never able to boot up into an installed version of Sierra, no matter where I installed it. Whether I installed it to the internal SSD or even a separate external USB, nothing worked. However, with El...

DSDT Help Needed: Lenovo Thinkstation D20

So, I've had SOME success. I still haven't been able to boot from an INTERNAL drive on which I installed OSX. However, I attached TWO USB drives to my system, and boot up to the installer on the first drive, and then installed OSX to the second USB drive. Then, I WAS able to successfully boot...

DSDT Help Needed: Lenovo Thinkstation D20

Hopefully a few of those that successfully got their S/D20 working are still monitoring this thread… I recently purchased a D20 with Dual X5650 and 96GB of RAM! :) I also bought a HyperX Predator PCIe SSD for it. This has been a little frustrating for me. I am trying to install Sierra onto...

Sierra Installs fine, won't boot - ThinkStation D20

I also wanted to point out that when I was installed OSX, my NVMe SSD drive showed up in Disk Utility without any special configuration.

Sierra Installs fine, won't boot - ThinkStation D20

Here's a photo of my frozen boot when trying to run off the SSD that OSX installed to. I successfully installed OSX to my PCIex SSD without any problems, so the system seems to boot and run fine. As per my link in the first post, I am trying to install Sierra. D20 bootup Freezes by percyjoyb...

Sierra Installs fine, won't boot - ThinkStation D20

I have a Lenovo ThinkStation D20 with 2x X5650 CPUs, 96GB RAM, a Quadro 2000 video card, and a 240GB HyperX Predator M.2 PCIe SSD drive. Using the http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-install-macos-sierra-hackintosh-on-pc-guide/ instructions as a guide, I was able to get Sierra installed to the SSD...
