    re-add Win10 disk to Clover/boot options

I recently had to reformat the drive that held Sierra due to corruption issues. After some minimal fuss, I've restored Sierra to that drive. Now - before all that happened, I was working off a perfectly good Win10 install on a second drive. However, when I boot into clover now, that disk is...

    Sierra will not boot

Will have a look - I can access/read the Mac drive when I boot to Windows, so hopefully the drive is not a loss. If the OS got corrupted, is there a guide for repairing it (and keep the hackintosh setup) without having to wipe the drive?

    Sierra will not boot

I didn't make any changes or update at all. I can get to Clover as normal, but booting to Sierra simply gives a slow crawl on the status bar. When it completes, the machine shuts down (and does not restart). I don't see a stopsign or any other prompts - it all just goes black and doesn't come...

New Method for Enabling NVIDIA Web Drivers in Clover

I had this working, then had to do some BIOS work, which then broke the graphic drivers. I have: Set config multiple ways "Successfully" installed the proper Nvidia drivers for my Sierra version Tried to set to Nvidia Web Driver When I set it, I restart the machine, and "OS X Default...

[Solved] UEFI clover boot option gone after BIOS update

Tracked down a solution that didn't require new apps - and this worked for me. Pre - get your system booted up off the USB and mount the system EFI drive (not the USB EFI drive) - check your directories and copy down the path to the \CLOVER\CLOVERX64.EFI file (I noticed this differs some...

[Solved] UEFI clover boot option gone after BIOS update

Still researching - to be clear, I can boot to Sierra and Win if I start up through a USB. What I can't do is remove the USB and direct BIOS to use Clover's UEFI to start - the option simply isn't there. Only UEFI is enabled in BIOS. I have tried going to Clover Options from the USB and adding...

[Solved] UEFI clover boot option gone after BIOS update

Following fixing a different issue, where Clover was making a new UEFI boot drive every time I restarted (causing 20+ boot drives in bios), my issues have gone the other way. I updated BIOS to F20, and no longer see any UEFI drives to go to clover in the BIOS setup - only the two drives in the...

ADD WINDOWS 10 BOOT EFI AFTER INSTALLED OS X & CLOVER UEFI Simple

I have completed setting up Clover/Sierra on my new hackintosh per the standard instructions on this board - and Clover seems to be working properly to allow me to select Sierra on startup. I have a blank drive in the system on which I want to install Win10, and then select either/or from...

[Solved] GTX 980ti - DVI - Sierra not getting full resolution

I have read through the forums looking for help, checked the latest drivers as of an hour or so ago, and changed my config.plist as best as I'm aware. What I'm seeing is that the resolution is really, really bad (2560x1600 is unreadable). I don't know if this is a driver issue, or a hardware...

[solved] Sierra install not detecting SSDs

Based on RM's comments about the .plist, I backed up a few steps and went back to Unibeast. Doing so, with some recommended BIOS adjustments, has gotten me all the way through install. Now I have a different set of issues post-multibeast, but that's for another thread. Thank you for the help!

[solved] Sierra install not detecting SSDs

Good to know where to start - the plist is the default after loading Clover for a UEFI system (I didn't mess with anything manually). I have a plist editor open and can see all the children under DSDT, but I don't know what all these do, and which ones are safe to alter/remove. For that, I...

[solved] Sierra install not detecting SSDs

I formatted the USB to MacOSextended Journaled before putting Sierra/Clover/Kexts/Multibeast onto the drive, but I didn't create a partition - since my drive is only just big enough to do this (16GB) - what do the sizes of the partitions need to be, and what goes on which? Also, forgive what...

[solved] Sierra install not detecting SSDs

I have 2 Samsung 850 EVO drives installed - and BIOS sees both of them. I'm using a Sierra install USB with clover with FakeSMC, HWInfo and NullCPUPowMan Kext files - but I have not done any fancy work with configurator or config.plist (primarily due to newbness) The install seems to go...
