Thank you, you were right. I had 14.0. I setup an install disk with the 14.1 image (which included the 14.1.1) and was able to update the existing os with it. Did not track down why it was failing but using the standalone installer it seemed to work fine.

Ah I was a little overwhelmed at first but this fix works and makes sense. Its basically a screen rotation utility that can be run at boot time which will rotate the screen to 0 then to the desired value which fixes the odd rotation bug.

System tells me that the 10.14.1 update is available. I install it, screen turns dark, see a progress bar, then it reboots... and then system tells me again that 10.14.1 update is available. Seems like it didn't install or failed to install but I have no info of such failure or reason for...

Nope, been stuck at 30hz. My screens are all working but my primary is 4k and the stuttering mouse is really annoying. FYI my display is a Dell UP3214Q connected via DisplayPort. Fact that it was working in 10.12.4 says its a software settings thing.

So if I change SIP from 0x3 to 0x67 or my SMBIOS from imac17,1 to 14.2 or similar, my screens seem to go dark and only way to get it back is to re-install nvidia drivers. Currently I have screens running, by my MST display is stuck at 30hz no matter what I do

I do not have inject NVIDIA enabled in boot but I do have the NvidiaWeb enabled. It was working fine in 10.12.4 so not sure why things are so unsable / different after the update.

Jumped the gun on this, It was running at 30hz and on top of that, after a reboot, my screens go dark again :(

Fixed: uninstalled Nvidia drivers rebooted and reinstalled them. Now everything is working again.

Update went smooth however as indicated at the top, Nvidia WebDrivers do not yet support 10.12.3 so they will STOP WORKING after the upgrade and you will lose graphics if using an Nvidia card. Hoping updates will be released soon.
