Sorry to wake up this thread. I have installed this kext but it seems the command "cat /var/log/system.log | grep "AICPUPMI:"" doesn't generate anything. I am on Catalina and does this kext still work on the latest MacOS?

Add this to supplement more info. It seems the FL1100 chipset is being recognized but cannot work. *this is resolved* I have disabled the ACPI fixUSB and also make sure the power cable is connected to the card. The card can be loaded after these two.

Stupid me. I have solved the booting issue. My problem was due to using an old version of Chimera. I have upgraded to the latest Chimera and now I can boot directly from Maverikcs in my harddisk. No need USB.
