macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Dumb question, is it worth our time to file a radar (bug) report to Apple regarding this issue?

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, To be clear, with the new beta, we're now to add 0x67DF1002 to AMDLegacySupport.kext, in addition to AMDController9510.kext, and AMDRadeonX4100.kext for the RX480 to work? Thanks.

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, Are you talking about Toleda's terminal script or are you talking about an actual .kext you've installed? If it's a file, could you share it?

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, I can report that HDMI/DisplayPort audio appears in the sound output section of Sound preferences in this beta. I'm not sure I can hear anything coming out, but it's a step in the right direction. In my case, I'm using the HDMIAudio.kext method. Perhaps we're getting closer?

HDMI Audio Through AMD XFX RX 480 8gb Reference Card.

Gotcha. I don't have a Hackintosh, but I find these discussion fora helpful. Of course, I don't mean to sidetrack this thread. But would you happen to have any tips on how I would approach getting audio over HDMI enabled on a Mac Pro with the RX480? I have looked into some exotic cases of using...

Hello, I read a report about the new beta dropped today, 10.12.4. Has anyone installed it? Any issues encountered with the RX480? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/312582-amd-polaris-ids-on-1012-sierra/?p=2356569

RX480. **The program is SwitchResX. I incorrectly called it DisplayResX.

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, I'm able to pipe out 4k@60 hz fine, over DisplayPort. I use SwitchResX to get OS X to output a HiDPI flavour of that resolution. But it works great and looks great. I can share my SwitchResX settings if you need them.

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Yes indeed, I certainly have the patch (actually three different areas that are patched) for enabling all of the RX480 cores in place and it works great. You're suggesting that there may be a place to patch in the same file(s) to enable HDMI audio? And as for SSDT .AML files - how would I go...

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, So the short answer is probably not. The long answer is that I have investigated the scripts that Toleda has made, read them over, and it seems they depend on Clover or some other system that makes Hackintoshes able to boot OS X. The scripts seem to work by messing about with the EFI...

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hello, I have a Mac Pro 4,1 flashed to 5,1. As soon as the latest beta was installed this morning, I inspected to see if any native (out of box) support for the newer Radeons were added. We still see that in the Info.plist of AMDRadeonX4100.kext, it still lacks the device ID for the RX480. I...

Clover HDMI audio for NVIDIA & AMD cards. Easy way.

Hello, Just wanted to check up on this to be absolutely clear. And I know that this is a discussion forum for those who have Hackintoshes, generally speaking. But I'm running into an issue with DP/HDMI audio output. Heretofore, I had a PC graphics card installed on my Mac Pro 4,1 (flashed to a...
