An iDiot's Guide To Lilu and its Plug-ins

I'm trying to change AFGLowPowerState in AppleALC. Currently, it's <03 00 00 00>, but I don't really know what that means. Anyone knows the documentation for it? I want to know if changing that will help me fix the cracking noise (?) problem which occurs in a specific case when you plug an audio...

[GUIDE] Lenovo 510s 14-ISK using OpenCore UEFI

I've created a custom voodoops2controller with modifying resolution and scrollresolution so it feels better to use, still need to set tracking speed to max though in system preferences. In case for anyone who uses custom precision touchpad when using windows like me, and it feels weird with...

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Well, it's a laptop though... But yeah, it's fine and all in Windows, so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Oohh.. is that really relevant to this problem? Well, I'm currently on the default region. Let me change it a bit. Edit: even after changing the region to #a (that people said should...

[README] Common Problems and Workarounds on 10.14 Mojave

So I got a graphic issue (like display flickering or something? and laggy when using photoshop) when using dark theme on Mojave, it was fine when I disabled it with defaults write -g NSRequiresAquaSystemAppearance -bool yes so I got to have pre-Mojave dark theme. So is this mojave's issue or...

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Already done it; still laggy and when I checked it at wifi.log, the bluetoothcoex config is still failed to load properly. I also attach the log to make it clearer for you.

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Seems like lots of people are having problem with BCM94352Z, like the mouse will be laggy occasionally if you connect to 2.4Ghz wifi. From what I got in a certain ****** thread, the bluetooth and the wifi don't seem like recognised as one entity, instead they're recognised as separate hardwares...

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

... I refrain from doing that. I honesty forget all patches that I applied there, and it would be messed up if I removed it. The goal is to have USBX0 in ioreg, right? Then somehow I managed to do it. Thanks anyway.

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

Done. So I should just get some default kusb* from the internet, and paste it to the SSDT-UIAC? I did it, and it still doesn't show the USBX0 in ioreg. I still can't grasp the understanding about the USBX, sorry.

[Guide] USB power property injection for Sierra (and later)

Hi, Is there anything missing? I can't find the usbx in ioreg despite using usbinjectall kext and all. Thanks. Edit: After lurking around in page 20s, since I didn't find usbx and used 13,2. I should just use EH0 -> EH patch, right?

Bluetooth not working after update to 10.13.6

I suggest you to change the bcrmfirmwaredata to the repo one. It's supposed to run better with the latter since repo is intended to be placed in s/l/e (though somehow it works fine if you put it in l/e nevertheless). In my case, my bluetooth mouse feels laggy occasionally if I use the data one...

[FAQ] READ FIRST! Laptop Frequent Questions

Ah at last I truly see, so that's why it isn't working. I was trying to fix the bluetooth on 10.13.6 too, and after seeing your posts there (Bluetooth not working after update to 10.13.6) then tried it myself, it's working now. Thanks, I guess.

[FAQ] READ FIRST! Laptop Frequent Questions

Hi, rehabman, sorry for bothering you again. Sometimes my kexts on s/l/e and l/e wont load for some reasons and I need to rebuild the kext cache again and again. Do you know some causes of this problem? I don't think this is worth enough to make a thread for, so I'm just asking here to be honest.

[Guide] Lenovo 510s 14-ISK using Clover UEFI - INCOMPLETE

Hi, uchika96 For wifi replacement, do you need to unlock your bios? I happen to have the similar model, albeit it's the skylake i7 version. I want to replace the wifi, however I heard you need to remove the whitelist first before replacing the wifi card. Thanks!
