Gigabyte H370M DS3H - new install, no USB

Quick Start > Clover UEFI Boot Mode Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC Bootloaders > Clover UEFI Boot Mode Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2 No dice. Reboot and no keyboard or mouse. Strange thing is is that when I again boot from the Unibeast USB stick into Clover and then boot the...

Gigabyte H370M DS3H - new install, no USB

Started over. No migration of data from the the old install (from external USB Time Machine backup) In Multibeast I chose only what I thought was the bare minimum to enable booting from the HD, networking, and (I hoped) USB. Quick Start > Clover UEFI Boot Mode Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC Drivers...

Gigabyte H370M DS3H - new install, no USB

Managed to do the install. Used Multibeast to install things including the USBInjectAll.kext. Migrated data over, etc. Installed the Nvidia web drivers. All looks good. Reboot from the HD! ... and the keyboard and mouse don't work anymore. Fair enough. I boot from the Unibeast USB...

"Good enough" graphics card -> Dual-DVI required

Thank you for your help. This fix is the same fix that will work for the card I have now. (I think.) I'm worried that this fix will "break" with each OS upgrade and was looking for a card that just works. With Macs shipping today I see: (not counting the ancient Mac Pro) - NVIDIA...

"Good enough" graphics card -> Dual-DVI required

Hi, It looks like my GeForce 8400 GS is no longer supported in 10.8.2. Rather than mess around with modifying kexts I figure it is better to just buy a new card. My requirements are modest. No real gaming. I do need a Dual-DVI output to drive my cheap but wonderful Catleap 27" monitor...

GA-P67A-UD3-B3 can only boot in safe mode - how to start over

Wow! And I thought I was safe with an older card. I'll have a look. Is there another "fail safe" card that you can recommend. (I know, I know, I can search on my own, but I thought I would ask anyway. Cheers,

GA-P67A-UD3-B3 can only boot in safe mode - how to start over

Hi, Up to Lion, I had a pretty stable Hackintosh. I never got audio to work with Mountain Lion and am now hosed. I tried the UFI BIOS hoping to get rid of the need for a DSDT and get audio working - no dice, no audio. I downgraded to the F9 BIOS hoping to get things to work and of course...

Got audio to work 889 on Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

I ended up simply restoring from my CCC backup. It was easier than fooling around with Voodoo. I love the price and flexibility of my Hack but it really is living on the edge, never knowing when a small tweak will mess something up. At least my audio is back! Cheers,

Got audio to work 889 on Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

I've never had problems with my sound before. At least not any problems that couldn't be fixed by re-installing the sound drivers; ALC8xxHDA.kext + rollback. Today, sound stopped working when I ran Multibeast to update to the latest DSDT files released on Jan 1st. I tried the usual re-install...

Logitech C910 web cam: Picture Black

I managed to get the backgrounds working but in iChat. I had to go in and set the upload rate to something. Have a look at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/18 ... &tstart=30 However, this didn't help things in PhotoBooth. I'll keep searching. I'm not sure that this is a Hackintosh...

Logitech C910 web cam: Picture Black

So, I've finally had some success, but I'm not sure how or why  What I did was: - Uninstall the Renesas USB3 driver and run the Multibeast system utilities -> Reboot and the webcam didn't work. - Reinstall the Renesas USB3 driver with Multibeast -> Reboot and the webcam didn't work...

Logitech C910 web cam: Picture Black

When I said working, I meant that I can see the backgrounds. When I take a photo, It doesn't work as in I'm not superimposed on the background image. I think it has something to do with the area where my computer is located has a lot in it and the software can't distinguish me from the...
