First of all make sure your GPU is named "GFX0" or "GFXA" (WhateverGreen) will fix this for you, second make sure you have proper GPU power management (Agpm Injector Makes This Possible' PS: I've edited this kext to work only on iMacPro 1.1 smbios and rx 580 gpu like in my hack). I've put agin...
It works flawlesly thx ! If you have time can you explain how you find out the correct patches? I’ve tried yesterday with the kernel and iHex, managed to find out the correct one for xcpm_pkg_ but the performane one, nope.
Try slide=128 boot argument, if it's not working, delete OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and Test2.efi from drivers64UEFI folder, and use this the attached aptiomemoryfix.efi. Same, try booting with and without slide=128 boot argument. I would recomend to use aptiomemory fix.. btw, maybe a typo but I...
Native Nvram Work ASUS X99 Deluxe @dgsga
"@D-F Just thought I'd throw my research into the mix. I have found that you can enable NVRAM writes in Asus AptioV bioses my replacing the NvramSmi SMM module with the combined SMM/DXE NvramSmi module (same GUID) from older bioses that allow NVRAM...
Bellow is my EFI implementation for Asus x99 deluxe, Intel i7 5820k, Nvidia GTX 980 ti.
(use clover configurator to generate your own serial and smuuid), install clover rcscripts for emulated nvram. Let me know how it works for you, I've done my pci implementation directly in DSDT, i've left...
Hey, I think you should try high sierra, If you want I can post my efi for 10.13.6 and my bios settings. That guide for sierra is highly outdated, in my new setup I've followed KGP's amazing guide and all works flawlesly. All ! for the motherboard, there is no difference between asus x99 deluxe...
Ok, thanks, will update now, also Nvidia Released drivers for > macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra (17G4015) < . We'll have to wait for the drivers on mojave, or maybe, I'm optimistic, native nvidia support for egpu.
I had the same problem with SU1, processor stays at 1.2 no matter what (5820k, msr unloked asus x99 deluxe). Did you use the same performance patch for SU2?
So here with a small update: on 10.13.6 (17G65) with the performance patch provided in your 10.13.6 config.plist it has no effect on my 5820k Haswell-E cpu. I will provide the patch witch it works for me (I've found it on insanely calculated by another user in the beta thread for 10.13.6 so idk...
Yes, Asus X99 Deluxe , I will get to work, be back in a few days with results about performance on 10.13.6 su and also with full usb for your github repo. Thank you !
So, there is my EFI FOLDER, bios settings are the same as in your guide, (i don't have a camera to make photos but I can assure you that are the same) , this configuration worked flawless for me untill 10.13.6 su. XCPM is enabled but with the performance patch processor stays all the time at...
Still not working... I've unlocked the msr and appleintelinfo it reports it ok (unlocked). It's some kind of issue with the patch, last time I remember (10.13.6) it was working on haswell-e but not working on broadwell-e at the beginning. I have an intel 5820k on a Asus X99 Deluxe with the...
performance patch not working on 10.13.6 su on haswell-e. lattest cpu microcode updated via the procedure in your guide. cpu goes down to 1.2 ghz immediately after boot and stays there.
May be hardware side, do you have windows on your sistem to check this behavior? Or may, just may be something regarding RTC, check AppleRTC in clover configurator Kext and Kernel Patches. I only had once problems with RTC more exactly I lost my bios settings, but that only once happened and idk...
I believe you, for me first on 10.13.6 @PMheart performance patch wasn’t working. Next day @cfszs posted on insanely another performance patch for 10.13.6 based on @PMheart patch and that’s the patch that is working for me on 10.13.6
Edit --
Not working xcpm performance patch for 10.13.6 on...
Something definitly changed in 10.13.6 and 10.14 kernels. I’m sure @okrasit and @PMheart are looking into it. There should not be any difference for oc performance between Haswell-E and Broadwell-E, yet, there is. Without KernelXCPM checked it does not enable xcpm for me on my sistem, no power...
