    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

Are you referring to autopoweroff? I followed that command. I believe I am. I am unsure how to check though. CodecCommander.kext lives in /Library/Extensions (I'm assuming CodexCommander was a typo)

    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

Does anyone else have issues with sleep? I have my rig configured for dual boot. In Windows, it takes approximately 10 seconds to wake from sleep. In OS X Sierra, I click on sleep and the screen goes black for about 10-15 seconds then comes back, still logged in and everything.

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

The way you have it set up would be ideal for me, but in my case, if I have both connected (in my case, iGPU by HDMI and GPU by DP), the only signal comes from the GPU. This includes BIOS splash, Clover, and then the Apple logo until it freezes. iGPU produces no signal when both of them are...

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Do you know if this will fix the issue? It smells to me like an improper BIOS config. Having both the iGPU and the GPU plugged into the monitor at once still only produces video from the GPU.

Has anyone had luck with an RX 480 8GB in this build?

macOS Sierra PB: Need testers for new AMD Radeon drivers!

Hey all, I was wondering if someone could possibly help me. I just bought an XFX RX 480 8gb to use in my dual boot hack. I've gone through the kext editing and clover config offered here...

    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

Any luck? I'm wondering if maybe this has something to do with Sierra, and I should try El Capitan. To be clear, sleep works if I only let it sleep for like 10-15 minutes or so. Longer than that, and waking it up seems to provoke a reboot. This behavior is regardless of power nap settings...

    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

Sure thing! So it sounds like that was the right way to load the kext. Which version of it did you download? It may be possible that there was a bug introduced in a later version? Additionally, could you post your Clover Configurator boot args for this build? I'm wondering if maybe there's...

    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

I did, but that part was a little confusing, so maybe I didn't do it properly. The instructions say to unzip the directory on the desktop and then run KextBeast, which I did, but later noticed that the unzipped folder has two different subfolders (debug and release), so I copied the files from...

    Stork's MyHero Build: ASUS ROG Z170 MAXIMUS VIII HERO - i7-6700K - GTX 980

Hey there, I have a similar build and followed your guide here for the install. Most things seem to be working okay except for sleep/wake. I am experiencing a delay and then a kernel panic when attempting to wake. I've tried setting different values of darkwake in the boot options in clover...

    Thoughts on my first build

Thanks for the comments! How did you know that the case is too small? So would you recommend going with air-cooled parts instead? Or go with the liquid cooled but just replace the radiator fans?

    Thoughts on my first build

Hey guys, Will try and keep this pretty short/sweet. I'm a software guy, so I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to building a rig. My goal is to follow golden builds as closely as I can while also getting the performance I'm looking for: Mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO LGA1151...
