    X299 Big Sur Support

@TheBloke - Yes, I have SAGE 10G, but still... Seems like maybe this is not the problem. I will try to pull out Radeon VII and see what happens, maybe it is overheating because of 2x GPU or something... This is from ATTO driver: Also, this is the thread with similar KP with sonnet drivers...

    X299 Big Sur Support

@djlild7hina & @TheBloke I just found out something interesting... There is maybe a possibility you guys are using 10gbe at 1gbe speeds? Maybe this is the reason I am experiencing problems? Anyways, I just compared kexts for Sonnet, SmallTree and ATTO for X550-T2. Seems like only ATTO kext...

    X299 Big Sur Support

I just found MacBook Pro user that is using Sonnet (but probably real 10gbe adapter) that had very similar KP. Hm, maybe I should try ATTO drivers for same chipset...

    X299 Big Sur Support

@djlild7hina, any idea what could be causing KP from my post? I am using 11.2.3. I believe it is somehow connected to 10gbe or USB, but I don't really know how to read KP report. Any good reason to upgrade to newer beta with X299 SAGE 10G and dual Radeon VII...? Also, is is possible to...

    X299 Big Sur Support

Hi guys! I have X299 SAGE 10G and Radeon VII. I use this configuration for a long time. It worked with Catalina without problems. After upgrading to Big Sur I am having problems with my 10gbe. Only thing changed is OS upgrade and I added second Radeon VII card. Everyhing looks like it works...

    Asus X299 - Catalina Support

Hi everyone! I managed to install Catalina on my machine. I was basically following official guide and used some stuff from Github mentioned in first post. I do have some small problems: - external USB drives show as internal - connected to USB port on my case (internal USB3 header) - how to...

    Asus X299 - Catalina Support

Ok, so my first try will be with 10.15.3, thanks. I also have question about some kexts: - izo1 uses AGPMInjector.kext, djlild7hina doesn't - do I have to use it with Radeon VII and Sage 10g? - in original KGPs guide, there is a part about overclocking AMD cards. The same app doesn't work for...

    Asus X299 - Catalina Support

Thanks, I will try it. Just waiting for Radeon to arrive. I already prepared USB with installer and OC :) I didn't know about problems with Radeon VII. Do you think this is Catalina-specific?

    Asus X299 - Catalina Support

Hi everyone! I just read the whole thread, to get me back on track with Hackintoshes. So, just a bit of background: I am video editor and colorist. Using Adobe suite and Resolve. I had High Sierra hack made with KGPs guide and big help from @djlild7hina (10gbe drivers were a nightmare in the...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

I would go with X299 with 10G. From your post it seems like you have to go C422 for 10G, which is not the case.

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

It is working great, mainly because of Kgps guide and your help :) To be honest - that computer is running 24/7 without turning it off. I have to be able to remote control it almost anytime because of the nature of my work. This is why I still didn't try that. But as always I hope to do it...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

X299 SAGE works great for me on High Sierra... I use it extensively for film editing, grading and mastering (short ficition, feature documentaries, TV reality etc)... So serious work :) And I don't have any problems. Most of the time it is rendering from DaVinci or Adobe Media Encoder without...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hm, I just noticed that my efternal HDD shows as "non-removeable" (I don't see eject button in Finder, but I can eject it manually). Is that because I was too lazy to make my board-spcific USB kext, or I need to apply some other fix? :D EDIT: And one more thing - yesterday I lost three hours...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

No restart needed. After running these two commands it works after 10 seconds. And of course you would need to do it after every restart. Or to make it semi-permanent - reinstall SmallTree kext "as usual" :) BTW Nvidia SSDT works great, thank you for that! I think I finally have everything...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

@djlild7hina, running this after network dissapears enables it again: sudo kextunload /path/to/SmallTreeIntel8259x.kext sudo kextutil -vvv /path/to/SmallTreeIntel8259x.kext It is from some post in that thread about network interfaces... I guess it would be possible to run this as a script at...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Thanks, I will try this right away. Too bad it's not working for you :( I believe my time to return it has run out... So I will have to live with this. For me it works as it should, except when I have to install some new drivers. But next time I do it, I will try to load kext manually in...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

In the meantime in implemented all of these (except NVMe ones). Looking at your files, seems like I actually did everything right. :) Do you by any chance have SSDT for GPU on X299 SAGE 10G? Just so I can try to figure out this PLX-chip thing and pci-bridge. To be honest, I don't get it looking...
