I dunno if you watched the almighty Tech Lead ex Google ex Facebook Engineer, but there is much more at stake.
Only programs with an Apple approved digital signature can run on all the devices.
If Apple does not like what you do, all they would have to do is to flag your signature in their DB...
Hello again,
so I have tried with memtest86 for 2 hours and no error whatsoever.
Also, it looks like I had XMP disabled (already) and all the clock settings, voltage, etc. are on auto.
Hello,
system info in my profile, I am using Open Core 5.2 and I got 2 kernel panics in a couple of days:
Sat Nov 23 07:05:11 2019
*** Panic Report ***

Regarding this issue I had, with the latest Open Core EFI Folder shared by @pastrychef, I had the same issue, but this time I have used Reset NVRAM and I was able to access the Bios again.
So if you have this issue, just reset the NVRAM.
I fixed the issue by installing Windows on my second sdd and installing the flash utility which with I flashed the BIOS to the latest version.
So, at this time, I won't defy luck once more and I will stick to Clover until Open Core gets out of beta. :)
I was thinking the same about the temperatures. However with Clover the temps were detected just fine.
As for the main issue, I can't get into the BIOS. I tried removing the SSD from the case as you said, but it did not work. Therefore, when I get back from work, I will try removing the battery...
Hello,
I had a good round of bad luck this time. FYI I am using Mojave.
1) I used the latest EFI folder with Clover and I couldn't have my mouse and keyboard working neither with APFS encryption nor with FileVault.
2) I then tried with Open Core and mouse and keyboard were working but the...
Hello,
will I run in any trouble if I use this ram:
https://www.pcgarage.ro/memorii/gskill/trident-z-rgb-64gb-ddr4-3600mhz-cl17-135v-quad-channel-kit/
?
It's the 3600 Mhz version with cl 17.
In theory it's supported by the motherboard, I just want to be sure not to waste 700 euro roughly. :))...
Hello,
I did as you said and I have also used 3 as inject parameter, now it works.
The codec is ALC255, and, as per @toleda instructions, the parameter is 3.
Thank you.
I tried some instructions provided by @toleda
I have removed VoodooHDA which required AppleHDAisabler also.
Ran: audio_codecdetect_v2.3.command, therefore I downloaded: ssdt_hdef-3-100-hdas and used inject 1 in Devices/audio in config.plist.
I have installed also AppleALC from here...
Hello,
as per title my HDMI external monitor (DELL U2515H) does not work with Sierra and High Sierra when I hotplug it. However, with El Capitan it does work.
I am using IntelGraphicsFixup.kext and Lilu.kext.
I tried also with AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy (board-id) Patch (c) Pike R. Alpha
I also...
Thank you RehabMan, I got it working without errors with your latest suggestion. I applied all the patches and now all is fine.
I just have to add increasing and decreasing backlight by pressing some buttons on the keyboard, I will do it in the weekend if I do not have time now as I am starting...
Im considering the hypotesis of a missunderstanding since it just works. Contrarywise when I applied a wrong patch I got the "stop sign".
Our scenario (Pseudocode)
if (something) {
return 0; // bail, since condition is met
argA
argB
argC
} else {
return 1...
