You don't need "Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement" that is probably why you can't boot with turbo

Slow USB 3.0 Speeds on GA-H97-D3H MacOS 10.9.3

You may need to go to BIOS and reset it to default, save and exit, reboot back to BIOS and uncheck VT-d, set SATA to AHCI. If your using discreet GFX turn off onboard GFX. Outside of over clocking my CPU and memory, this is how my board is setup. I just copied a 36gb ProRes file into Final Cut...

Slow USB 3.0 Speeds on GA-H97-D3H MacOS 10.9.3

Not to use "USB 3.0 - Universal" ...seriously, I'm on z97 and mine didn't need it. Delete it and test your USB 3 again.

Stuck on Apple logo or kernel panic, Z97-UD3H - GTX660

First, go back to default settings in BIOS, then reboot back into BIOS and untick VT-d and onboard GFX. Next change SATA to AHCI. Boot from your Unibeast thumb drive and delete the kexts you installed from Easybeast. Also delete everything in root/Extra Run Multibeast again, this time, ONLY...

    4790k GAZ97X Gaming 7 won't boot, help!

I think your making this to hard, I started with a new board and processor and had a fully function system within 2 hours. Now, having said that, your audio chip is different from mine and I still had to use the option in MB for 9 boards. I CCC'd the fresh install and plugged the SSD that I used...

best Graphic Cards OOB or almost

respectfully beg to differ... EVGA GTX 650 on ASUS P8Z77-M Pro NEEDS NO TRICKERY to enable HDMI audio...I'm running it thru my LG 27" monitor now.

Great job samisnake. Thanks for your time and support for us die-hard ASUS owners. Updated my Z77-M Pro from patched 1504->patched 1616 and no DSDT. Noticed right away when booting that the delay at the apple logo was gone. My setup didn't even get to the spinner and BAM...working desktop...

    Mountain Lion & Sapphire 6850

Attached is a patched 10.8 ATI kext for your card. (didn't check audio) I just use a passive DP->HDMI converter ($7US) to my 27'' display, I only run 1 with this setup and didn't need an active converter. TIP: I like to keep as many kexts native as I can, makes for easy updating!

WHY OS X over Windows 7?

I'm "cheap 'n nasty" As an IT director for a media outlet and a 6 digit annual budget for my needs, I can afford ANY system I think will get the job done. I choose hackintosh. It gives me flexibility with different hardware setups and configurations (rack mounted & portable). It started...
