Finally got the WhateverGreen to work. Don't what exactly was the problem, probably SMBIOS. I was using macpro smbios. Now using imac 13,1. Also discarded AppleHDA patches and realtekALC.kext added by audio_cloverALC-120.command. Btw anyone got the VDADecoder to work in RX 4xx?

So whats the deal with 10.12.4? Number of CU and CU Limit patches work (iHex finds it) but Change init function to Ellesmere instead of Baffin patch not found. Anyone figured out this ellesmere patch for 10.12.4?

I use my monitor in vertical orientation. Its all good after booting into macos but while in clover screen i have rotate my head 90deg to see clover stuffs / log / verbose boot / panic etc.. I know there's a resolution setting in clover config, but is there a rotate/orientation option? Anybody...

I'm in clover 3793, so not latest. Its kexts and drivers64uefi are same as before, before i installed RX480. The system had only Intel IGPU then, it used to so boot fast. After selecting osx in clover menu, the progress bar get filled like 20% in like 3-4 seconds and then desktop appears. But...

Btw, it takes like a whole minute to boot (clover progress bar) with RX480, any idea how to speed it up?

It is the bootloader that makes GPU and other hardwares available to the OS :P So how can it be untouched and then used in os?

Check this thread, read metacolin's post. From his diagonosis, it seems to me that Clover does special stuffs to "Primary GPU", that special stuffs are making amd kext crash so black screen. But it works when amd is secondary gpu bcz clover isn't doing special "Primary GPU" stuff to it. My plan...

well upgraded to latest beta. Check the screenshots in attachment. No improvement in performance, rather maybe a tiny fps decrease? :P

About performance comparison to windows driver, i bet amd's official amdgpu-pro linux driver's performance isn't same to windows either :P :P
