Just installed this on my laptop. Update went smoothly, booted up just fine. Audio for some reason didn't work, but reinstalled AppleALC from multibeast, rebooted and everything seems normal. The update seems at least safe from what i can tell

....i can't believe myself ahaha. Thanks that worked!! I think what happened was that i tried some kexts, see that it didn't work, applied that in clover configurator, saw that didn't work either, restored the hs IO80211Family.kext (which was the "real" fix) but forgot to revert the fixairport...

If I had a guess it could probably be unpropperly patched DSDT and/or SSDT. I've also heard that some people had luck with ShutdownFix and/or darkwake=10 or 1 in Clover configurator

IMHO, Internal graphics. all the way. Not only you might find better compatibility with intel hd compared to the (relatively old) gt710. But also I'm 99% sure you will get better performance.

hmmm. Actually I'll keep this in mind, it sounds like a great idea in the future But since it's a laptop I'm trying to install Mojave on, this seems a bit.... over the top not to say impractical removing its drive for this purpose.(it could help by replacing the dvd drive with a caddy and spare...

It's 10.13.5, i wasn't able to update to 10.13.6 due to kernel panic stuff (unrelated issues). Anyway it's way above el capitan as it says in its requirements. If it helps imessage works on it so the build itself should be valid. I'm thinking it's something wrong with mojave createinstallmedia

Yep. Officially downloaded from the App Store, on the hackintosh itself, as you can see in the terminal log it is in my applications folder. I have no idea what's wrong, a very obscure error.
