Hi, I can't seem to fix the black screen after boot. The only way I'm able to boot up is to hook up the monitor via HDMI to onboard graphics and pull it out once it's booted. I've tried the Lilu.kext and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext. Also Shilohh's AGDPfix. But no sucess so far :( Any ideas ...
I got it all installed and working however my audio was gone, but fixed that. But I can't seem to fix the black screen after loading. The only way I get to boot is plugging in hdmi to the onboard and loading that way. Once it's loaded I unplug the HMDI and it runs of the displayport attached to...
Great that fixed my problem ! However now I have no audio anymore :(
Edit: Fixed the audio issue by re-running the https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC/ magic.
Mind telling me how you pulled that off ? I can't seem to get the HD530 Graphics working. Also running a GTX 1060 and waiting on the drivers to be released. I'd PM you but atm I can't because of the post limit.
It's because my EFI wasn't on the FAT32 partition and thus clover couldn't write to it. See attached file.
Edit: I have finally got it to work. Now I'm just figuring out how to fix the graphics. I'm stuck at 800x600. Using my dedicated GPU is out of the question since that's a GTX1060. Trying...
Well clearly just dragging it to the folder doesn't seem to work so I'm guessing I'm missing something pretty significant... Also excuse the stupid questions but I'm pretty new to it all.
As far as information, I'm following the following thread http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-10-11-6-asus-z170-pro-gaming-i5-6500-760gtx.189372 but I'm unable to add the kext for some reason.
I've moved the kext to the following location
And when I try to install all I see is my Data disk and the install disk. (Partitioned because all I had was a 250GB external HDD and clover doesnt like +64GB partitions)
