I did a bunch of searches and am fairly sure my motherboard does not have a serial port. Furthermore I did a search through bios and couldnt find anything about serial ports.
Mine is a logictech RF keyboard, when I got mac osx installed using chimera the mouse worked fine.
Ok I tried that more specefically I tried (with the new config plist)
Red flash drive: -v dart=0 npci=0x2000 : Bluetooth IO : Crash
Blue flash drive: Blue: -v dart=0 npci=0x2000 maxmem=4096 cpus=1 : fInterfaceSnapshots is missing: Crash
Any more guesses?
A theory for the bluetooth io thing...
Yes I am still trying to get to the OSX install screen from a flash drive. What is the RTC patch? I will try those out commands out. Also when you looked inside the config plist (Post 28) did you see Haswell patch in there or do I still need to add it?
Here are all the kexts I have...
Ok so I tried the boot flags with a drive with only free2000.edi (NO test2.efi)
-v dart=0 npci=0x2000
Blue: -v dart=0 npci=0x2000 maxmem=4096
They both got past DESMOS arrived, and some NVIDIA startup things, then it showed something about bluetoothIO real quick and then crashed.
At this...
Ok so today I tried two boot flag combinations (on my two drives)
Red drive: -v dart=0 npci=0x2000
Blue drive: -v dart=0 npci=0x2000 cpus=1
My rationale for trying cpus=1 was that this article says it is necesary to make voodoTSCSync.kext work
That being said the red drive got the furthest...
Thankyou ekwipt.
Question if I get past the whole initial allocation thing do I still need to mess with the Aptio or Test2 .efi combinations? Do they stop effecting the hackintosh after that? And they couldnt be responsible for a crash at PCI configuration began right?
Anyway today I dug up...
Yeah it doesn't work my 980 as a result I have swapped it with a GT 740, one of the recommended to buy graphics cards. Should I still be using nv_disable = 1? Any other flags?
Also I am curious: all the documentation says that this is a graphics card error so that must be it, but why does...
None of these file paths exist! Is this tutorial from before clover got an update or something? All I know is that my drive looks a little differently, it has its USB thing, but also an EFI partition.
Furthermore I can not find a Extras\Extensions folder, or a Library\Kexts folder. And yes I am...
I went ahead and did the terminal command to show the hidden files. I put the OSX install files on the disk via unibeast, should I use a command instead? It is worth mentioning that I havent been able to install the clover application on my macbook... is it only for the hackintosh?
Yes it is the name of the drive. I actually have two USB's going, I have found things work better when you wipe it after each try. So I figure I can have one working on the long unibeast thing, and another working on boot flags. That way I essentially have two guesses. One is named "Untitled"...
I have been trying to follow this tutorial. And I really cant.
I have been told I have to do my drive as a GUID partition and use UEFI boot to make things work with my build. So I did have to press some different settings when doing unibeast installation.
However when I get to the part on the...
