Ah. I think so too. My next upgrade will be AMD GPU. :)

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

No, I'm just curious. Why use two RX580 instead of maybe one 6800XT?

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

How do you utilize dual RX580 in macOS?

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

By the way, another question. Do you experience this GOP rendering issue in your build? https://dortania.github.io/hackintosh/updates/2021/04/24/rocket-lake.html

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

Do you use multiple displays for this build? Do you use HDMI or USB-C to connect the display(s) to the RX580?

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

I am actually just curious about the case you're using. I am using a Define R5 and wonder how much smaller the 7 compact is. Thanks anyways.

@ohcang, can you share more pictures for your hardware setup, particularly the case layout and the motherboard. Thanks.

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

Thanks for letting us know. Do you think this can be applied to Asus Z590-e or other Z590 boards in general with the same Ethernet controller? Do you use USBMap or USBToolbox to map your USB ports? Thanks.

    Ohchang's build: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G + i7-10700K + AMD RX580

@ohcang, have you tried removing fake PCI ID kext for the built-in Ethernet on macOS 11.4? Since it may have been supported natively now?

    OC 0.6.6 OpenCanopy

Do you have this entry in config.plist? NVRAM -> Add -> 4D1EDE05-38C7-4A6A-9CC6-4BCCA8B38C14: UIScale: 01 (Standard resolution) or 02 (HiDPI) I suggest you try it. This is how mine looked with UIScale:02 (on LG 4K display) when I tried it. I don’t use Opencanopy since built-in text mode is...

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

@mattystonnie, is there any reason why you didn’t mention the Device property injection method for more advanced users in the 1st post?

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

No, I don't see it there unfortunately. What should I do? Update: The problem was my backup OpenCore/EFI drive was booted instead of my main boot drive and the config.plist file was never changed. All good now. This device property injection works and made my build configuration better. Thanks...

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

@mattystonnie, I am not sure if the injection is loaded successfully in my OC build. Can you point out what I am not doing right? I attached my config.plist and IOReg for your reference. Thanks in advance.

    AMD Radeon Performance Enhanced SSDT

My build is pretty similar to yours, but my Metal result is only 50700. @mattystonnie, what should we expect to see in IOReg with this SSDT patch? I attached mine below for reference. Note: I'm using SSDT-RX580-M.aml with WhateverGreen + agdpmod=pikera argument and nothing else.

[Solved] Three-screen setup, black screen (no signal detected) on TV via HDMI.

@pastrychef, does HDMI audio work on your Radeon cards? Looks like mine isn't. [Update]: I added -cdfon boot argument and it is working now.

[Solved] Three-screen setup, black screen (no signal detected) on TV via HDMI.

With WhateverGreen disabled, all three screens were black after Apple boot logo, and purple lines were back too. I will stick with just WhateverGreen.kext for now since the injection didn't really help with my benchmark scores anyways. Thanks again, man.

[Solved] Three-screen setup, black screen (no signal detected) on TV via HDMI.

Benchmark scores varies, with RadeonBoost.kext loaded, OpenCL score is 358 higher, while Metal score is 406 lower (See attached screenshots). I notice that more info is displayed in System Information - Graphics section too.

No, the cable is fine. Highest resolution on macOS is 3840 x 2160 with HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on or off.
