I found there were a couple of old kexts in my /L/E/ directory that I think were conflicting with some kexts in my EFI clover kexts directory. After deleting the old ones, everything seems to be working now.
Has anyone else run into the problem where boot stalls at gIOScreenLockState 3 using bravariancake's EFI? I know from searching this site it's a graphics problem, but I can't figure out why I'm getting it with this EFI. I thought it was already configured to use the Intel graphics and disable...
Have you figured out how to update? I've been trying to update from 10.14.2 to 10.14.4 and can't get it to work. It hangs on ACPICPU timeouts. I updated Clover to the latest version along with Lilu ,Whatevergreen and AppleALC kexts which seemed to help some people, but didn't fix the problem for me.
Do the modifications made in the Clover config.plist also effect Windows? I have a dual boot setup and HDMI does not work in either the macOS or Windows.
I've been referencing this thread for getting my XPS 9570 working.

People have gotten the essential stuff to work, but whether or not it's usable as a daily driver depends on your needs. If you need HDMI or...
I completely wiped the drive using diskutil and tried installing again and I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to install on an NVMe drive, if that makes a difference. Files attached.
I'm running into a similar problem. I get most of the way through the Mojave installer then get a crash report. I'm using an XPS 9570 4K. My clover folder and the install log is attached. Any help would be appreciated.
OK, thanks, I rebooted, hit F4 at the clover screen, then ran the script. The zip file is attached. I couldn't get a screen shot of the verbose boot. It went by too fast. Let me know if you need that in addition to the debug files and I'll give it another try.
I spoke too soon when I said everything was working, but have managed to fix most problems by going though the various High Sierra troubleshooting posts.
Battery status is still not working, though. I installed the ACPI Battery Driver kext and disabled SSD trim. There's no battery DSDT patch...
I decided to go ahead and do a clean install of High Sierra (to upgrade from Sierra) and ended up extracting and patching my DSDT file as part of the install process. Everything seems to be working now except the battery status indicator. I installed the OS-X-ACPI-Battery-Driver kext but that...
This is a public service announcement: I installed the latest Dell bios (1.23.3) today and now can't boot into the MacOS. The OS hangs near the beginning of the boot process. I'm running Sierra, so I'm not sure if this is also the case with High Sierra. I checked my bios settings and secure boot...
It works!. After adding the kexts one at a time, I found that AppleHDA.kext was causing the problem. I re-patched the original kext using AppleHDAPatcher. I also realized I missed a couple DSDT patches mentioned in the original post. Now everything seems to be working... except the touch screen...
I read through the Laptop FAQ, it seemed like all the kexts I needed were included in the Dell_Inspiron_13_7358.zip file that was attached to the original post (in the S/L/E directory). I added those kexts to my L/E directory and got kernel panic. So one of those kexts does not belong, but I...
