;) I have no idea about that. This HDMI indeed output 4k@30hz in Windows. But MacOS can receive 4k@60hz. It is very strange. Maybe this hdmi is a FAKE 1.4 ? I'm sure that uhd 630 can support 4k@60 on hdmi2.0. Maybe this hdmi is 2.0, but the mainboard has done something that restrict the signal...
Your config only output 2k@60hz signal. I increase the value of Framebuffer-fbmem and framebuffer-stolenmem, and add framebuffer-unifiedmem. All of these are set the ram of graphics to support 4k monitor. 1532mb and 2048mb is nothing different in normal use I think.
Thanks for your sharing.I modify the Framebuffer config. Now it can work on my 4K monitor. Both mDP and HDMI can work very well. Thank you very much.
It is strange that HDMI can also output 4K@60hz.
hi rehabman, I had copied SSDT-PNLF.aml in ACPI/patched, and AppleBacklightFixup.kext installed to /L/E.
Brightness Slidebar showed, but it has no effect when sliding that bar.
the macOS version is 10.12.6
