[Guide] Intel Kaby Lake NUC7 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7BNH, NUC7i5BNK, NUC7i3BNH, etc)

I'm using this AUKEY USB-C to DisplayPort Adapter with the DisplayPort Cable that shipped with my monitor (LG 27UD69-W).

[Guide] Intel Kaby Lake NUC7 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7BNH, NUC7i5BNK, NUC7i3BNH, etc)

Correct, I also don't have any DP (USB-C) -> HDMI 2.0 adapter available for testing.

Correct, my NUC7i5 has the Iris Plus 640 (0x5926). That's up to you ;)

[Guide] Intel Kaby Lake NUC7 using Clover UEFI (NUC7i7BNH, NUC7i5BNK, NUC7i3BNH, etc)

I just got a NUC7i5BNK and 10bit (30-bit) 4K 60Hz works just fine over DisplayPort. My SMBIOS is iMac 18,1 and I set ig-platform-id to 0x59260002. Using 0x59120000 I could not select any scaling resolutions higher than 1080p and using 0x59260000 my screen would go black after loading (when...

    Skylake HWP Enable

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could take a look at my setup. I just can't get HWP to work.. I'm running a i7-7700K (ASUS Z270I Board), macOS 10.12.6 and I'm using a iMac18,3 SMBIOS. sysctl machdep.xcpm output: AppleIntelInfo.kext output: AppleIntelInfo.kext v2.6 Copyright ©...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

It's pretty obvious for me: When using NO HWP my file system is fine. When using ONLY the config.plist to enable HWP my system crashes within minutes of resuming from sleep and won't boot properly (invalid record count). This didn't just happen once. I got it to reproduce everytime. When...

Install the attached kext with EasyKext Pro. Let me know if it worked for you

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

I'm a bit confused right now. ALL my posts in this thread were on 10.12.1 and my DW1560 is working just fine (WITHOUT SSDT-ARPT-RP06-4352) Our WiFi related kexts seem to be identical: BrcmFirmwareRepo (2.2.7) BrcmPatchRAM2 (2.2.7) FakePCIID (1.3.2) FakePCIID-Broadcom-WiFi (1.3.2)...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

Did debug=0x100 show you the panic debug screen? I'm not using sleep right now since I'm still using HWP. If you want proper power management (and thus battery life) you will either have to generate a SSDT.aml using ssdtPRGen.sh that goes into CLOVER/ACPI/PATCHED or use the fancy new Skylake...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

You could try booting with debug=0x100. My config.plist contains additional patches related to WiFi (KextsToPatch). Also did you generate a SSDT.aml for PM or are you using HWP?

Snap a picture of the kernel panic and upload your Clover folder. ;) Don't forget to delete your serial number tough.

I think you should be fine. Just make sure you remove 'HWPEnable' from config.plist. Let me know how it went!

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

Exact XPS Model or 'Mac' Model? I have a XPS 9350 with i7-6500u, 1080p Display, Samsung PM951 NVMe SSD, BIOS 1.4.4. Only thing not stock is the DW1560. My SMBIOS Model is MacBook9,1 due to the truncated model identifier bug. I applied the follwing DSDT patches: [syn] Rename _DSM methods to...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

I'm using mine as a daily driver (since yesterday!) Since the Skylake Graphics Glitch is fixed, the only issues left for me are: Brightness Hotkeys Multitouch TouchPad with Gestures For now I'm using VoodoPS2Controller.kext and it's been fine. USB-C might be an issue as well, but I...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

Don't quote me on this but I think they use a Intel 8260 and those won't work with macOS. EDIT: I was wrong. It's a Killer 1535

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

I'm sticking with MacBook9,1 for now with HWP enabled and it works great! It can be enabled by putting this in your config.plist (Clover build >3879 required!): <key>CPU</key> <dict> <key>HWPEnable</key> <true/> </dict> Also don't forget to delete your generated PM...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

Glad you got it working! Regarding the upper left corner / menu bar glitch, i just opted for the dark menu bar. Makes it bearable. I switch to a MacBook9,1 SMBIOS. But the SSDT generated by ssdtPRGen.sh then causes a Kernel Panic at boot. Since my only Skylake option left is the iMac17,1, i...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

I don't think there are many differences to 10.12.0 except you need an additional patch to get the DW1560 to work. One thing boggles my mind: For now I'm using the MacBookPro12,1 identifier in Clover, but MacOS reports my Model Identifier as being MacBookPro1. Not 10, not 12,1 just 1...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

I think it's time to buy me a ring then, because I got the SSD recognized! As it turn's out it's a stupid idea to use someone else's SSDTs. (Who would have thought?) Anyway, I deleted everything in the Clover AHCI Folder, set DropTables to false and followed azlvda's suggestion and...

    [Guide] Dell XPS 13 9350 macOS 10.12.1

Ok I edited the config.plist to inject kexts and boot. However the installer doesn't seem to recognize my NVMe SSD (Samsung PM951 NVMe 256GB) Do I need anything additionally to Pike's IONVMeFamily Patches? I tried to put IONVMeFamily.kext into the Others folder, but that didn't seem to do the...
