How are you editing your .aml? I'm using maciASL and the format looks nothing like that. I know that it's essentially the same information, but it's a not familiar language to me and I want to get it right!

Yeah, I pulled the USB cable out of the motherboard and the computer was able to sleep. It's strange because I'm sure I'd mapped that port as 'internal', but I guess I'm doing it wrong!

Would you mind very much uploading an SSDT template showing the various numbers that I can change? I'm aware that 0x3 = A USB 3 port, doesn't 0x255 = an internal port?

I have this exact same problem, but I'm not sure where you change the key to 255. I used maciASL to edit my .aml file to read "0x255" under the correct HS number. It shows up in IOReg as 255, but it hasn't fixed the problem!

Interesting. How did you narrow it down to that in the end? I've been using {pmset -g log} to have a poke around and see if anything stands out, but it doesn't make a great deal of sense to me.

No, it isn’t. USB C and thunderbolt aren’t the same thing. They just share the same connector.

Is anyone here having problem with sleep/have sleep work 100%? I have this build almost exactly, but every time I put the computer to sleep, it wakes itself up about 20 seconds later. The fans spin down, it gets to sleep and then *click* it wakes itself up again!

No, I never did. It was such a shame. In the end I gave up and bought a Mac because handoff became so useful to me at work :(

Hey, does handoff/continuity work in both directions for you? I have a different build, but I can only get it working from my iphone to my computer, not vice versa!

Thanks for the input! Did you specifically buy the RX580 that Apple supports in GPU enclosures? Or just a generic one? I'm wondering if it makes a difference or not. But if native support is coming to all of them, I guess that won't make a difference soon.
