I mean it’s a bit of a cheat but you can use the boot flag -igfxvesa It disables hardware acceleration but it will get you in there to at least install.

Annnnnd it's fixed. I set ipv6 to link-local only and that seems to of done the trick. At least for now. Still says can't resolve link-local name in bonjour browser, but everything seems to be working so I'll live with it.

I have a problem where mine only boots about half the time and I no idea as to why. It says "unknown vendor" for the card when it happens, but outside that I'm clueless. I notice that it does mention the intel GPU when booting, but it does that when it successfully boots too.
