I also upgraded my HP and needed to re-patch AppleHDA (for audio) and wifi card (for 5ghz and handoff). So far so good.

OMG! This is the cure! Very interesting that before the 0x6d worked for me for awhile but after patching for hdmi audio! Thank you so so much and now I can spend the weekend on fixing the imessage/facetime and handoff (airdrop works now but handoff doesn't show up yet). I really wish I could buy...

I installed a BCM94352HMB and removed the usb wifi, no luck. So I reinstalled OS X and re-did the DSDT patches and installed battery, backlight, ethernet, pcie-wifi, AppleHDA and HDMI audio kexts, still no luck. Everything works but black screen after wake.

After camera and HDMI audio fix, don't know why the sleep is gone...now even I put it to sleep with no usb plugged in, it's dark screen every time I wake it. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I applied the necessary patches and I checked in IOREG. When I plug in the TV, it shows in Output; but when I select the TV, the volume control greyed out. It shows the picture okay but no sound. Kindly advise. Thanks.

Tested twice (30 mins each time) without USB wifi and you are definitely right! Thanks again RehabMan! I still have truevision HD camera and HDMI audio left to conquer. Did you get your camera to work?

I have the same problem now. It only happens when I leave it to "sleep" longer (tested a couple times, the shortest time was around 30 minutes). If I put it to sleep for only a few minutes, it's fine. Kindly advise. Thanks.

I totally agree with you. I got so many not working kext installed. Thanks for your time and I will try a fresh install this weekend.

After changed the DSDT-patched.aml to DSDT.aml, I couldn't get into the OS desktop any more. I tried to boot verbose and after all the codes, the machine just rebooted itself. I used the installation usb to get into the OS and produced the files requested. Kindly advise. Thanks.
