Hi all!!
Hope you are all well and survining the current climate!
Just to chime back here on this thread, I recently did a fresh install on this same machine with Catalina. Downloaded the quantum driver and went to edit it, but noticed it connected right away! Checking the code it appears they...
Just to check in... today I updated to latest Universal Control and thus latest thunderbolt driver. This obviously broke the fix we created for the last one. But adding the same code to current driver fixed it again.
I wonder if I should write to presonus re this issue? i Suppose it’s a...
Well do so at your own risk. If you don’t the time to build it, then when things go wrong you will be at the mercy of the person helping you. I wouldn’t advise this for a professional computer.
Also my advice is to build it yourself. Any problems that arise in the future you will be well equipped to deal with. If someone else builds it, you won’t have experience with troubleshooting...

Can't open CFBundle for /System/Library/Extensions/quantum_driver.kext.
Can't create /System/Library/Extensions/quantum_driver.kext.
Console app. Can't see anything presonus related in log files. But i obviously could be missing something here...
Great, I will pull up console today and have a look. Am I looking for files that contain the pci id and/or than contain the word quantum?
Device is plugged in and switched on before machine is powered up yes.
Shall I run another boot log?
I bought the quantum without checking... But I will keep working at it with the help of the smart and helpful people on this forum (obviously joevt really knows his ****!). And if hackintoshing has taught me anything, its to just stick at it. There's always a workaround. The quantums just arn't...
