Has anyone tried a dual gpu setup on opencore? I'm thinking of expanding my rx580 to dual rx580 or just getting 2x 5700 xt as I need more monitor inputs.
Hi pastry and everyone.
Any issues if I were to upgrade the rx580 to 5700xt? Is there any specific brands to avoid? Is it also a plug and play card in catalina? And do I need to adjust anything under whatever green or radeon boost?
if you used pastry's opencore EFI it was already included and no further setup is required (well other than the delay timer. but reading the dortania guide looks pretty painless. see here
Just a quality of life question here
Is there any way to change the setting for the order of boot and also if I could extend the delay timer before it auto boots into the left most drive?
one last thing whilst we're on the topic of wifi card. do i have to update the MAC address in the config? the mac address initially was on the asus Lan port, but now i'm using the wifi pcie card it has a different mac address
I followed your instructions on changing the hs07 to HS13 and installed accordingly to snoopy post. However my Bluetooth on the BCM94360CD card isnt appearing. Any ideas?
I've also check if Bluetooth component through Windows partition and it was working without a hitch.
Edit: clearing nvram...
I've check the config plist and whatever green is enabled. Resettled the nvram and now hdmi is working flawlessly
Thanks I'll look into it once I get the card installed. Appreciate all your help!
Update 1:
I gave up on trying to make clover work and I just went opencore and was gladly surprised that the new opencore has the gui for multi boot hoorah!
So I used the opencore efi supplied in the first post with no modifications and it just works. Installed and booted into mac OS.
What's...
